Dialogue[edit]

If the character is a male norn
Hero point empty.png
You probably believe the lies the other lodges tell you about the Sons of Svanir. You couldn't handle the truth.
Talk more option tango.png
I can handle plenty. I'm listening.
It takes a strong mind, heart, and body to follow Dragon. That's what we do. Females and many males are too soft for it, too...tender.
Talk more option tango.png
You don't like females?
We don't like anyone who's weak. Our time is coming. Our power is rising. Only those who can fly with Dragon are worthy of our attention.
Talk more option tango.png
But females are strong.
Even if they were—and I've seen no sign of it—we can't trust them. It was a female named Jora who killed Svanir, our martyr.
Talk combat option tango.png
Sounds like Jora did your cult a number. My turn!
Talk end option tango.png
I've had enough. Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png
I've had enough. Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png
I don't have time for this.
If the character is a female norn
Hero point empty.png
What business could you possibly have with me, female? You did notice that I wear the colors of the Sons of Svanir, didn't you?
Talk more option tango.png
I noticed. Tell me what makes you so special.
It takes a strong mind, heart, and body to follow Dragon. That's what we do. Females and many males are too soft for it, too...tender.
Talk more option tango.png
You have something against females?
We don't like anyone who's weak. Our time is coming. Our power is rising. Only those who can fly with Dragon are worthy of our attention.
Talk more option tango.png
We're as strong as you.
Even if you were — and I've seen no sign of it — we can't trust your kind. It was a female named Jora who killed Svanir, our martyr.
Talk combat option tango.png
Sounds like "tender" Jora kicked your martyr's butt.
Talk end option tango.png
I see. You'd better watch your back, then. (Once the player earned the hero point)
Talk end option tango.png
I've had enough. Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png
I've had enough. Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png
You're not worth my time.
If the character is not a norn
Hero point empty.png
What business do you have? I'm with the Sons of Svanir. Nothing that happens here concerns you.
Talk more option tango.png
What are the Sons of Svanir?
You can never understand us. You do not commune with the Spirits of the Wild. They lend us great power, the likes of which you will never know.
Talk more option tango.png
What are the Spirits of the Wild?
All you need to know is that we Sons of Svanir follow Dragon. It is this great spirit that will empower us to rule the world. We fight in his name.
Talk more option tango.png
You fight for the dragons? You're evil?
Talk combat option tango.png
What is evil? What is good? In nature, there is only predator and prey.
Talk end option tango.png
I have to go.
Talk end option tango.png
I have to go.
Talk end option tango.png
I have to go.
Talk end option tango.png
I have to go.

Notes[edit]

  • Male charr will get the same dialogue as the male norn instead of the other race dialogue. After defeating him, then they will get the other race dialogue, but not the option to fight him again.
  • Female Sylvari and Asura will get the same dialogue as the female norn instead of the other race dialogue, too.

Trivia[edit]

  • Blane the Insane used to attack on sight and awarded players with a hero point after the fight by talking to him. With the September 2014 Feature Pack Blane now attacks after talking to him first, and the hero point is unlocked when you defeat him.
