Location[edit]
Detailed locations[edit]
The table below describes the location and route of all known Veteran Dominion Supply Wranglers. "Return behavior" describes whether this particular wrangler will walk back and forth in a continuous loop, or whether it will despawn and respawn, effectively teleporting back to the beginning each time. "Required bases" indicates which bases Dominion must hold for the wrangler to spawn.[verification requested]
Start location | End location | Route description | Return behavior | Required bases | Respawn time (approximate) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Northwest house at Greattree Hamlet — | Giant hollow tree south of Petraj's Rest — (On the ledge above the point of interest) | Briefly rejoins the path west of the hamlet, then veers northwest to reach the hollow tree. Stops at the base of the tree on the south side. | Walks back, and then repeats the route again. | None: always able to spawn. | 4-5 minutes |
Fort Defiance south gate | Vloxen Mine northwest gate | Follows the path west and then south from the fort to the mine. | Despawns and then respawns at the start. | Fort Defiance, Vloxen Mine | 4-5 minutes |
Port Cascadia south gate | Petraj Overlook southeast gate | Follows the path south and then west, stopping at the first gate on the path. | Despawns and then respawns at the start. | Port Cascadia, Petraj Overlook | 4-5 minutes |
Leadfoot Village south gate | Fort Defiance north gate | Follows the path south and then southeast, over the bridge, stopping at the gate. | Despawns and then respawns at the start. | Leadfoot Village, Fort Defiance | 4-5 minutes |
Lighthouse Point gate | South beach of Lighthouse Point, just north of Redsand Strand — | Crosses the bridge and then walks down the beach to the southeast, stopping near a barricade. | Despawns and then respawns at the start. | Lighthouse Point, Port Cascadia | 4-5 minutes |
Wolf's Crossing Bridge — | Leadfoot Village east gate | Follows the path west and then northwest, stopping at the village gate. | Walks back, and then repeats the route again. | Wolf's Crossing, Leadfoot Village | 4-5 minutes |
Wolf's Crossing Bridge — | Northern shore of Breakroot Basin | Walks south across Wolf's Crossing, and takes an unmarked trail west of Evergreen Pond — (passing through some giant fallen trees) to reach Breakroot Basin. | Walks back, and then repeats the route again. | None: always able to spawn. | 10-11 minutes |
Wolf's Crossing Bridge — | Barricade on the south beach of Lighthouse Point | Walks southeast, following the path down to Lighthouse Point as far as it can. Stops where the path is blocked by a barricade. | Walks back, and then repeats the route again. | Wolf's Crossing, Lighthouse Point | 4-5 minutes |
Behavior[edit]
Dominion Supply Wranglers have no associated event, but they follow a particular pattern. They will spawn at a set location in Dominion-occupied territory, accompanied by a friendly Pack Marmox (that is, friendly to the player). Then, they will walk along a set path to their destination (not necessarily another fortification). What they do after reaching their destination varies: on some routes, they will despawn and then respawn again at the start of the path. On other routes, they will not despawn, and instead walk back to the start to repeat the loop.
Once they are killed, their Pack Marmox will become a Scared Marmox and then flee. In the process, it will drop its packs and leave a Reclaimed Supply Pile where it was. The location that each marmox flees to appears constant, and it will despawn once it has reached it.
After a short while, less than 5 minutes, the wrangler and marmox will both respawn. The order in which the two respawn seems to vary. Note that, If you are trying to complete Special Mission: Disrupt Supply Lines, you should only kill the wrangler once the marmox has respawned. Since the achievement is progressed by collecting Reclaimed Supply Piles, which only drop when the Pack Marmox flees, killing a Dominion Supply Wrangler who has no marmox will not yield any achievement progress.
If the base that they visit is captured, both the wrangler and their marmox will run away together and despawn.

Notes[edit]
- When Dominion forces reclaim the map a while after the completion of Defeat the Claw of Jormag, all wranglers will be able to spawn again. This may not grant much opportunity to kill them, however, as the map at that stage is typically less than 2 minutes away from closing.
