“You cannot expect to cross the Mists without having your magic altered. Some awaken to new sources of power, others channel their inner forces. Nothing will be the same.

Elite specializations[edit]
After Kralkatorrik's demise[edit]
Going through the Mists trying to catch an Elder dragon reminded me how easily the flow of magic can be altered. I decided to create my own elite specializations, all inspired by the Mists. Here's the list of all the specilizations I would like to see in the game.
- Guardian: Mistknight (reworked greatsword, vice skills replacing virtues, darkside skills)
- Revenant: Mistwalker (greatsword, Mist Surge, Razah and memories skills)
- Warrior: Gunslinger (dual pistols, sangfroid replacing burst skills, duel skills)
- Engineer: Gravimancer (staff, pulsar skill replacing the elite tool belt skill, gravitation skills)
- Ranger: Invoker (scepter, the ability to call forth mythic invocations instead of pets, evocation skills)
- Thief: Skyscorcher (spear, throw skill replacing the steal mechanic, lancer skills)
- Elementalist: Aetherist (longbow, transforms attunements to aethereal magic, flare skills)
- Mesmer: Diviner (dagger, constellations replace clones, divinations)
- Necromancer: Daemon (sword, deamon possession replacing death shroud, haunting skills)
Canthan inspiration[edit]
Through ancient knowledge, a fighter is able to master more than they could ever imagine. Cantha is full of secret arts, and I believe that our characters could learn a lot from there!
- Guardian: Purifier (new weapon katana, security skills replacing virtues, purification skills)
- Revenant: Defender (staff, Spirits, Master Togo and channeling skills)
- Warrior: Forerunner (spear, Archemorus' parry, spiritual skills)
- Engineer: Besieger (new weapon banner, siege orders replacing the elite tool belt skill, siege skills)
- Ranger:
- Thief: Assassin (offhand sword, afterimage replacing the steal mechanic, thakayun skills)
- Elementalist: Jadecaller (greatsword, new attunements jade and amber, curse skills)
- Mesmer: Thaumaturge (longbow, echoes replacing clones, miracle skills)
- Necromancer: Embalmer (dual pistols, ghost shroud replacing death shroud, summoning skills)
