Getting there[edit]
This mastery insight requires the Jackal's Shifting Sands mastery.
Go south from 
Olishar's Oasis Camp Waypoint — to reach 
The Triumph of Palawa Joko — . From this point of interest, go east to reach a sand portal which will lead you to an area with more sand portals within. Make your way through those portals to earn the mastery insight.
Beware of the tar traps, which will knock you off the mount immediately. Furthermore, foes like Awakened Mummies and Veteran Awakened Abominations will try to stop you from getting back on the mount.
Alternatively, you can start in Bonestrand Waypoint — in The Desolation, cross the north map portal to Elon Riverlands and head northeast from The Joko Gate — to the sand portal entrance to reach the mastery insight as explained above.
