Disrupt the Magnetics Lab is a renown heart in the Sandswept Isles.
Walkthrough[edit]
This heart has unique mechanics. Upon entering the Magnetics Lab, you will find a Magneton Hammer available for use, and a variety of objects within the room to use it on. When you use the hammer's Attractor Pulse (skill 1) on an object in the room, you will be affected by Magnetic Attraction and begin levitating around the object. Use Magnetic Discharge (skill 3) to cancel this effect.
Magneton Capacitors hover in the air around this room, and may be used to charge your hammer's Magneton Blast (skill 2) so long as they are charged (glowing red); when you are at close enough range to a charged Magneton Capacitor, skill 1 will change to Magneton Siphon. Use a Reset Console to reset the capacitors back to their charged state.
In general, use the Magneton Hammer to target a nearby Magneton Capacitor to orbit. If the Capacitor is charged, siphon off its power. Move on to the next Capacitor. Once you have a number of Blasts stored, use them on the golems on the floor, or targets on the wall if they are active. Repeat until done.
Killing golems during Disable the Inquest security turrets (80) is a quick way to complete the heart. The Skyscale's Fireball can also be used to participate in destroying the turrets, without having to use the hammer.

- Use the hammer's Magneton Siphon on Magneton Capacitors — 2% heart progress
- Destroy Magneton Destabilizers — 5% heart progress
- Kill golems inside the Magnetics Lab:
- Mark I Golem and Mark II Golem — 5% heart progress
- Veteran Mark I Golem and Veteran Mark II Golem — 10% heart progress
- Golems patrolling outside do not count
Contributing events[edit]
- Disable the Inquest security turrets (80) — No heart progress
- Use the hammer's Magneton Blast on Security Turrets — 4% heart progress
- Participate in destroying a Security Turret — 23% heart progress
- Kill golems during the event — 15% more progress than normal (e.g. 25% for a veteran)
