Shaemoor village nestles against the wall of Divinity's Reach. Centaur raids have become increasingly aggressive of late, and the Seraph struggle to protect the haggard villagers. Only the brave or foolhardy would venture out during a centaur assault.

Defending Shaemoor is a short tutorial for the players that have just created their human character. This tutorial has several tasks which eventually lead up into a boss battle against the centaur Champion Modniir High Sage who will summon two Earth Elemental Hands. Players can encounter other players throughout the tutorial.

Defend the garrison (Level 1) is an event where the player has to defend the Shaemoor Garrison from centaur attack waves.

Defeat the greater earth elemental (Level 1) (upon completion of "Defend the Garrison") The objective is to defeat a boss-like Greater Earth Elemental which is summoned by the Modniir High Sage. This event is tied to the main objective.

Corporal Beirne: Outstanding. Sergeant Walters is coordinating our efforts at the inn. Send villagers there. After that, if you still feel like volunteering, talk to Walters. She'll put you to work.

Thanks. I'll start with the villagers.

At the Inn.

Sergeant Walters: You must be the lifesaver everyone's talking about. Whoever you are, thanks for sending those villagers here. We'll keep them safe.

Seraph Soldier: Sergeant! There are more centaurs on the other side of town. Captain Thackeray's calling for reinforcements at the garrison!

Sergeant Walters: If he's calling for help it must be serious, but I can't spare anyone.

Logan Thackeray: They're backing off! Keep pushing!

Modniir High Sage: Enough of this I will deal with you myself.

Logan Thackeray: Take down their leader!

Modniir High Sage: Pitiful humans. You think you can defeat me?

Modniir High Sage: Rise!

Seraph Soldier: By all six gods, what is that thing? It's huge!

Logan Thackeray: That, soldier, is a threat. We're going to take it down. Forward!

Logan Thackeray: For the queen! Charge!

Modniir High Sage: Destroy them!

Logan Thackeray: Take out those giant hands, and the whole thing will come crashing down!

Logan Thackeray: It's not dead yet! Brace yourselves, I think it's going to explode!

“ Centaurs attacked Shaemoor today. A Seraph guard urged me to return to the city, but I couldn't do it. I had to help the villagers and get them to safety. When Sergeant Walters sent me to the garrison, I joined Captain Logan Thackeray in the fight against centaurs and a centaur-summoned earth elemental. — My story
