can we get an counter on how many pages there are on the wiki? i think it wuold be nice to see how it evolves. It wuold be even better if we cuold get a whole statestic page like on the GW1 wiki. hope i postet the rigth place --ismet 17:52, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] GW2 Logo

Do we have the GW2 Logo on top or underneath the welcome message? When I put it underneath, I thought of the message on GWW and the logos underneath but obviously this is different. Also, what image should we use? The current one is just a fan render, if you look at the wiki's logo you can see a bit of a difference. I also think that an enlarged version of the favicon might look nice too if we can get one, any thoughts? --Santax (talk · contribs) 16:21, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

For the time being, it looks better underneath. When GW2 is actually out, and we put boxes or whatever there, we can change it to something else. I think the welcome to gw2w box looks tacky underneath the logo. --

I see no need for the logo at all, for the moment. It's already in the upper-left corner of the screen. The logos on the main page of GWW serve a purpose, linking to the various campaigns; this doesn't. - Tanetris 19:33, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

That's great for now. We'll likely have it similar to GWW in the future, with images of titles of the installments on the top of the main page, with those images redirecting to the installment. Calor (t) 00:11, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Cousin. guildwars.com is GWW's parent site, guildwars.com and guildwars2.com are sister sites, and guildwars2.com is GW2W's parent site. If you want to get technical, anyway. Sister is probably close enough. - Tanetris 22:55, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

It's *far* easier to just copy-paste the entire thing onto the main page. That's what we did on PvX before the headache of scrolling down through the code got to me and I made Wizardboy split it up. (Yes, I got headaches just by twirling my scroll wheel.) Though I suppose this wiki doesn't have four or five tables lying around... -- Armond Warblade

[edit] remake of the main page

i for one am not the person to go and do this because i dont have any idea how to format or make tables in wiki... any how i feel like the main page should have another box linking you to lore and other info that we do have. the main page as it is right now is rather stale. 75.165.115.252 01:44, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

The wiki has little to no activity yet, and there's even less lore. There's no pressing need to remake the page yet. Calor
