Spite

• Bitter Chill — Chilling a foe inflicts vulnerability.
• Chill of Death — Cast Lesser Spinal Shivers on a foe when attacking them while their health is below the threshold.

Curses

• Target the Weak — Increases critical-hit chance for each condition on the foe. Gain condition damage based on your precision.

• Corrupter's Fervor — Inflicting a condition on a foe grants carapace. Gain pulsing protection while at or above the carapace threshold.

Reaper

• Chilling Nova — Critical hits against chilled foes cause an explosion that chills adjacent foes.
• Chilling Victory — Striking a chilled foe grants might and life force. Single attacks can activate this trait more than once before recharging.
• Cold Shoulder — Chill lasts longer, and chilled foes take increased strike damage from your attacks.
• Blighter's Boon — Gain life force when you apply a boon to yourself or remove a boon from an enemy. If you are in reaper's shroud, gain health instead.
• Deathly Chill — Chill deals damage over time.

Scourge

• Nourishing Ashes — Gain life force when you inflict burning, and remove or corrupt a boon.
• Feed from Corruption — When you remove or corrupt a boon from an enemy, gain barrier.

Notes

• This skill is unblockable by Aegis. Aegis on target is removed by this skill.
• If this skill triggers boon applications, such as from Protective Ward, the new boons won't be affected.

March 19, 2024	Fixed an issue that caused this skill to deal more damage than intended in PvP.
February 25, 2020	Competitive content update: (Competitive split) Reduced power coefficients as follows: When removing no boons, coefficient has been reduced from 0.35 to 0.03. When removing 1 boon, coefficient has been reduced from 0.525 to 0.045. When removing 2 boons, coefficient has been reduced from 0.875 to 0.075. When removing 3 boons, coefficient has been reduced from 1.225 to 0.105.
December 11, 2018	The damage of this trait has been increased by 20% in PvE, and it will no longer be able to critically hit foes. The damage displayed in its tooltip has been fixed in PvP and WvW.
October 02, 2018	The damage of this trait has been reduced by 30% in PvP and WvW.
August 08, 2017	Path of Fire pre-patch: Lesser Spinal Shivers has been added to the game.
