The Guild Arena is run and maintained by an Arena Proprietor. It is an area for guild members to use as a combat sandbox and customize it with obstacles and traps. New strategies or tactics may be tested and practiced by Guild Teams and members, but no rewards are available. Heart of Thorns Expansion is required to use the Guild Arena since interaction with an arena coordinator NPCs is required.
Although players fight against each other in this arena, all skills use their PvE stats and not their PvP or WvW stats.
The Guild Arena will become available once you have created Workshop Restoration 1.
Speak to one of the coordinator NPCs to determine your team (red, blue, green, or none) and style of play (2 teams, 3 teams, free-for-all and unkillable).
The arena and associated NPCs appear after corresponding guild upgrades are completed.
Appear at their respective colored shield map icon by the waypoint near the arena. All require the Heart of Thorns expansion.
- Arena Obstacles Coordinator appears after completing Brawling Obstacle: Walls
- Blue Team Coordinator and Red Team Coordinator appear after completing Arena Restoration 2.
- Free-for-All Coordinator allows for team-less brawling after completing Arena Brawling: Free-for-All Fighters.
- Green Team Coordinator allows for three-way team brawling after completing Arena Brawling: Green Team.
- Invulnerability Coordinator allows for brawling without taking damage after competing Arena Brawling: Invulnerable Fighters.
There are several types of arena decorations, which are obstacles that may affect the flow of combat in the arena. They may be placed by guild members with the Arena Decorator privilege. Decorations may be viewed or placed after talking with the Arena Obstacles Coordinator.
