Notes[edit]

  • Provides the Dagger Storm effect.
  • Unaffected by quickness or slow.
  • Each dagger will bounce once to a nearby target when it hits.
  • While appearing random, this skill will attempt to attack as many different targets as possible.
  • Most of the daggers thrown are purely a visual effect, the skill will occasionally throw out daggers that are targeted at nearby enemies which do behave like normal projectiles.
  • One foe may be hit directly by up to 8 projectiles, at the rate of about one per second. The number of hits is inversely related to the distance between the foe and the thief, with one dagger hit from the skill's maximum 900 range distance, and 8 hits while standing directly on target.

Patch Changes
August 08, 2017 Path of Fire pre-patch:
  • Reduced the duration from 8 seconds to 4 seconds, but doubled the number of daggers thrown.
  • Now gives 1 stack of stability for 6 seconds on activation instead of pulsing stacks.
  • This skill now increases movement speed by 100% while activated.
  • Changed the system that limited hits on the same target to be more consistent for multiple thieves using the skill at the same time.
July 26, 2016
  • This skill can no longer be affected by quickness or slow.
June 23, 2015 Specialization update:
  • This ability is now classified as a trick.

  • This skill now grants 3 stacks of stability every 3 seconds, with a 3-second duration.

  • Fixed a bug that caused this skill to continue creating whirl projectiles after the combo field it was using expired.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the projectile reflection effect to last longer than the skill animation.
