Weather

Guild Wars 2 has both ambient and dynamic weather system. In older zones, weather is almost always constant and in certain places, such as in cities, will for example never rain. In newer zones, weather tends to be dynamic and changes throughout the day. Certain weather will also trigger events in certain areas.

Weather has no effect on combat or skills, unlike environmental hazards, which can influence movement or apply damage.
