Paper Scraps are interactive objects found throughout Dry Top. There are two sets of paper scraps, one telling portions of The Trek of the Zephyrites Short story and the other tells the story of three Durmand Priory explorers sent to explore the western lands.

- ..as we approach the battlegrounds, we've stopped conversing about anything nonessential to our survival. We're too exhausted to do anything but plod onward. It's as if the wind, sun and weather were conspiring to slow our progress..

- They forged an alliance with her and let her into their minds. They guarded her legacy for as long as they could, but sadly, their race was not to live forever.

Priory Expedition[edit]

- Letters sent home from soldiers in the Kournan army have given us great insight into their lives. In the eleventh century A.E., their leader Varesh Ossa inspired great loyalty.

- In one particular speech, Ossa praised her military and encouraged them to use their persuasive abilities to build the power of Kourna from the inside.

- She said, "If one ally is good, than two is better. And if they work together towards a goal, then they ascend their own limitations and become more than the sum of their parts."

- Ossa cites the alliance between centaurs and Kournan craftspeople as an example. Together, they produced better armor and weapons, and they provided for the Kournan people's day-to-day needs.
