Lessons Learned is an achievement from the Flashpoint release that requires players to find 14 of Zinn's Recorders throughout Draconis Mons.

From the waypoint, go north up to behind the Mercenary Encampment PoI. Just east of the prison camp is a scaffolding that descends into the rock. The recording is at the bottom in a corner. |

Rata Arcanum | Heathen's Hold Waypoint —
|
 Destroyers route Vista route
|
Use the Thermal Tube north of the waypoint to get launched towards the Gate of Fire point of interest. From there, run northwest to get the Oakheart Essence past the Diving Goggles. From the Oakheart Essence, glide south west, looking for a lower platform filled with destroyers. Enter a small tunnel on this ledge and go to the very end of the tunnel, and use the Oakheart's Reach skill to get the recording which can be found on the ledge above.
An alternative way is to head towards the vista in Rata Arcanum by using the thermal tube north of the Heathen's Hold Waypoint. In the corner by the western bouncing mushroom below the vista is a hard to notice hole that drops down to the recording. |

Roughly above the Sub Landing POI, head towards the vista in Rata Arcanum by using the thermal tube north of the Heathen's Hold Waypoint and heading northwest towards the Diving Goggles. From the vista, head west and glide down into a small hole for the recording. |

Heathen's Hold |  Mercenary Encampment —

Take the metal ramps from the northeastern edge of Wurm's Furnace, first north, and then to the east. Go under the rock arch that is between the tent and a rock pillar, going straight until you hit a dark brown wall. Follow the wall to your right (southeast) until you fall into the small hole with the recording. |

Take the metal ramps from the northeastern edge of Wurm's Furnace, first north, and then to the east, to reach a tent located under three copper pipes. The recorder is behind that tent. |

Blistering Abyss | Eternal Pool —

From the Heathen's Hold waypoint, run southwest towards the edge of the cliff. Glide in this direction until you spot an area with wasps and fireflies. With Ley Line Gliding, you can make it to the ledge southwest of Zeta Vault. Run up the hill past the Oakheart's Essence and take both bouncing mushrooms. Run south southwest towards the path shown on your map. Follow the left wall to find a small cave up a few rocks, it will appear to have pale yellow webbing in it. Enter the cave to find the recording. |

Ancient Hollow | Ancient Hollow Waypoint —

Head northeast from the waypoint, picking up the Oakheart's Essence. Continue northeast until you find yourself on a ledge in with what looks like two caves with blue plants growing from the ceiling. Glide towards them and aim Oakhearts reach up in the ceiling of the left cave to reach the area. If you miss, it's possible to hit with Oakheart's Reach from the ground. The recording is in the back of the cave. |

Rata Arcanum | Nu II Vault —

Using the thermal tube north of the Heathen's Hold Waypoint, and then use the second thermal tube near there but start gliding when you are able to and head towards the Sandstone Archway point of interest. Pick up the Oakheart Essence on top of the arch and glide northwest. Use Oakheart's Reach to get into the cave full of grubs and bats past the earth elementals. Head west and deeper into the cave. Use Oakheart's Reach on the upper portion of the southwest wall to reach the ledge with the recorder. |

Heathen's Hold | Peace Grounds —
|
|
From the Heathen's Hold waypoint, run west to the edge, then jump off and turn around to glide toward the waypoint. Glide down slightly and northwest of the Peace Grounds point of interest toward a plateau that has wasps and an Oakheart's Essence. From the Oakheart Essence, follow the rock formation to the left. Look above you for a small crevice with blue hanging strands. Pull yourself into the crevice using no more than two charges of Oakheart's Reach. Once inside, use the last charge to pull yourself upward to the recorder. |

Ancient Hollow | Ancient Hollow Waypoint —

Head northwest from the waypoint for a short distance until you find a small opening near the corner. Jump down into the hole to find the recording. |

Savage Rise | Viraddi's Salvation —
|
|
From Heathen's Hold waypoint, run south and glide down to the bristleback nest (east of and above Viraddi's Salvation). Pick up an Oakheart's Essence near the bristlebacks or smogscales in the area and head north around the rock on the map. The recorder is visible in a small cave at the north end of the area (visible when approaching from the south). |

Heathen's Hold | Iota Vault —

|
Enter the Iota Vault with an Oakheart Essence. Go into the cage to your right just as you enter, head to the back corner and grapple up to the ledge to find the recording. |

Savage Rise | Viraddi's Salvation —
|
|
From the Heathen's Hold waypoint, run southwest in the direction of the letter A in "Blistering Abyss" on the map. Jump off the edge and continue in this direction until you spot an area filled with wasps, you can either drop down to it or continue gliding if you are able, but start heading south east, looking for an Oakheart's Essence in front of a rockface with blue glowing plants. Pick up the Oakhearts Reach from the Essence, and look south for a crevice with Cave Bats inside, and use Oakheart's Reach to enter it, then make a right when inside to find the recording. Alternatively, if you are on the layer below the waypoint, it is south of Viraddi' Salvation, so if you approach from the cave with Rolling Devils, look up for a ledge with blue fungus hanging below. The cave is above those fungus strands. |

Scalding Gorge | Nu II Vault —
|

Using the thermal tube north of the Heathen's Hold Waypoint and head towards the Diving Goggles. Pick up the Oakheart's Essence and glide/fall northwest towards Scalding Gorge. Glide right below the floor of the Nu II Vault and take the ley-line on the left side to reach a small cave with mushrooms. Follow that to the end until you reach the cave full of updrafts and Unbound Magic. Use Oakheart's Reach to maintain your height and glide to the northeast side of the updraft cave, to reach an area filled with Earth Elementals. Head to the back of the cave to find the recorder in a crevice on the northeast side.
Alternatively from the sandstone archway head west to the mushroom cave. Go to the very end (west) of the cave and take an Oakheart's Essence. Glide into the cave section with many updrafts and unbound magic and take a sharp right (east) into a cave with Earth Elementals. Head to the back of the cave to find the recorder in a crevice on the northeast side. It is much easier to just start at Ancient Hollow Waypoint and head southwest to the edge and jump on the ley line there. Ride it all the way up to the cave with the mushrooms. Inside the cave you can use a skyscale if you have one. In the cave, follow the directions in the previous paragraphs. |
