Fel Vaerdenmer is a seafarer and the father of Benn Tenstrikes. When he saw his son join the fight against the Elder Dragon Zhaitan, he and his wife Merri Sunbower decided to join the Pact too.

Biography

Personal story

Fel and his wife provide assistance to the Commander in completing the Order of Whispers' plan to capture the Risen navy to perform a covert strike against Zhaitan's forces.

They later reappear at the victory celebration at Fort Trinity.

Interim years

After losing contact with their son Benn following the Pact's costly war against the Elder Dragon Mordremoth in the Heart of Maguuma in 1328 AE, Fel and Merri got their hands on their own airship, mostly salvaged from parts, so they could search for their son. They named her the Sun Chaser after Merri's family since Fel had named their previous ship after his family. However, Benn turned up safe and returned home some time after the campaign in Maguuma had concluded, much to his parents' relief.

End of Dragons

Fel and Merri traveled to Arborstone after it had been renovated and upgraded into an international commercial and travel hub following Cantha reopening its borders in 1335 AE. Much to their delight, they ran into the Pact Commander there and exchanged news of what had happened to them since they had last interacted with the Commander.

Once Fel and Merri had read every book in the library, soaked in the pools, and strolled in the market, they began chatting with local officials about any possible changes to Canthan airspace so they could bring their airship to the continent.

Merri Sunbower: Commander! Just the person we wanted to see! I dreamed of visiting Cantha ever since I was a child, and here we are! Thank you for making it possible.

Fel Vaerdenmer: Aside from reading every book in the library, soaking in the pools, strolling in the market... We've been chatting with officials about any possible changes to Canthan airspace.

Merri Sunbower: We've got an airship! Salvaged from parts, mostly, but still runs like a dream! We call it the Sun Chaser. Fel got to name the last one after his family, so I thought it was only fair!
