Containing the Scarab Plague is a meta event that occurs in Domain of Kourna and involves helping allies launch an offensive on Joko's headquarters, Gandara, the Moon Fortress. It is the only way to reach the Imperial Center for Applied Pestilence point of interest within the fortress.

• Protect the allied saboteurs as they ride to the Awakened Inquest cannons.

Notes

• Time until Awakened ritualists raise a necrotic field around the Awakened Inquest facility has a minimum of 10 minutes if one cannon is successfully reprogrammed; an extra 5 minutes will be added for each further cannon, up to 20 minutes.
• The meta restarts with Collect spare parts from Awakened and Inquest to contribute to the assault (80) 10 minutes after the timer during the final phase ("Time until Awakened ritualists (...)") has run out.
• Destroying a Plague Experiment, but not killing the Champion Awakened Lead Researcher, grants the Access Card but does not seem to be enough to spawn the final five Kournan Chests if it has been looted the same day. This can be fixed by logging out and logging back in while inside the vault.
