Locations[edit]
Objective | Closest waypoint | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Lost Coin #1 | Repair Station Waypoint — | From the waypoint, head east and then circle back to the north on a higher ledge until you are due north of the waypoint amongst earth elementals. Looking down into the canyon below (where the vine bridge is), you need to follow the left wall around. There is a Licensed Learned Legendary Llama Locator nearby on this ledge, but beyond it there is a Lightning crystal which you can use to Lightning Pull to the coin on the ledge due east. Alternatively, if you have the Lean Techniques mastery, it's possible to glide over from the top of the sloped platform south of the coin. |
2 | Lost Coin #2 | Vine Bridge Waypoint — | On a pillar due south of Cliff Peak on the world map, but actually reached from the Unswept Uplands. Approach from the east and use the Wind crystals in the sand below the pillar. |
3 | Lost Coin #3 | Repair Station Waypoint — | From the waypoint run directly east toward the edge, then head north. Use the Lightning crystal to Lightning Pull to the ledge and go along the wall. |
4 | Lost Coin #4 | Repair Station Waypoint — | From the waypoint, head to the southeast corner of Challenger Cliffs, at the top of the ramp from the Inquest Base. You'll see two obvious Wind crystals on a small ledge - grab the lower of the two crystals and head left/due south around the side of the ledge. Keep going south - the coin is on an angled slope with a further Wind crystal in the far corner beyond the devourers. |
5 | Lost Coin #5 | Repair Station Waypoint — | This is nearby to coin 4 described above. From the waypoint, head to the southeast corner of Challenger Cliffs, at the top of the ramp from the Inquest Base. You'll see two obvious Wind crystals on a small ledge - grab the lower of the two crystals, use Assisted Leap twice to hop up on the little ledge on the left - the coin is wedged behind 2ft high rock on the ledge (look back towards where you found coin 4). |
6 | Lost Coin #6 | Repair Station Waypoint — | This is the second most difficult coin in this area. You have to start climbing on the southern cliff face (that has Inquest Base Vista — at the east end) with the Wind crystals in the southeast corner, and then walk on very narrow ledges while trying to reach the next Wind crystal and Lightning crystal. You will need good aim. From the last Wind crystal, carefully Assisted Leap up to this coin. |
7 | Lost Coin #7 | Repair Station Waypoint — | On the surface, due north of Inquest Base — on the map, there is a hole in the ground where you can drop through into the base. Approaching from the west, hugging the edge, drop into the hole. Follow the left edge along to the coin (can be hard to see due to the plants). Take care when navigating around the edge or you will certainly die to fall damage if you do not have gliding available.
If you want to continue to the next coin from here, backtrack to the west end of the ledge, hop over to the ledge on the left (when facing west), then look down and aim for the ledge above the top of the cascading sand pile. Then jump onto the top of the sand pile. |
8 | Lost Coin #8 | Repair Station Waypoint — | From the cascading sand pile in the inquest base below coin 7, look for the Wind crystal on the northeast side of the mound. Use Assisted Leap up the ledge directly in front of you, the coin is at the back of the ledge. |
9 | Lost Coin #9 | Repair Station Waypoint — | From the waypoint, head southeast until you reach the hole in the ground, next to the crashed windsail (southwest of Cliff Peak). Drop down onto the nearest ledge. Then drop onto the wooden beam. Finally drop onto the wooden platform concealed by the sail. |
10 | Lost Coin #10 | Repair Station Waypoint — | From the waypoint, head to the southwest corner of the map until you find yet another opening into the underground cavern. There is a Lightning crystal hidden in the shrubbery down upon the eastern corner edge of the hole. Zoom all the way in, and look south, inside the cavern. The coin is visible in the distance beyond two rock pillars. Since the Lightning Pull has a curved trajectory which can accidentally launch you into the low ceiling, it may be much easier to glide or use a mount to leap if available.
With the Lightning crystal, take a small step forward and aim Lightning Pull at the back third of the first pillar platform. Quickly use Lightning Pull again onto the top of the second rock pillar before the effect wears off. Then walk along the ledge to the coin. |
11 | Lost Coin #11 | Repair Station Waypoint — | In the underground Inquest Base, there is an Inquest gate in the southwest corner. Just to the northeast of this gate, there is a rock slope with a small concealed tunnel entrance. Remember this slope.
At the northwest side of the cascading sand pile (as described for coin 7), grab a Wind crystal and return to the bottom of the rock slope. Use Assisted Leap up the slope once or twice. This should be enough for you to be at the level of the tunnel entrance. The tunnel leads to a small alcove. The coin is tucked in on the right-hand corner. |
12 | Lost Coin #12 | Repair Station Waypoint — | This coin is slightly west of Inquest Base Vista — , above the ramp entrance to the underground base. Hop up the rocks west of the vista to reach the coin. |
