- The event to summon Mayatl is started by speaking to the
Itzel Bladedancer on the west edge of the plateau and requires 
Itzel Leadership mastery. After he has been defeated, there is a five minute cooldown before he can be challenged again. - Itzel Leadership is required to open the Chest which appears after he has been defeated.
- Defeating Mayatl for the first time will award a
Heart of Maguuma mastery point, even though there is no related achievement. - You can only get one Itzel Lesson per day.
