The Strange Energy Source is a hero challenge located at the The Great Oouo Point of Interest in the Guilty Tears area in Timberline Falls. It is located in a small asuran lab in the shape of a face.

The ball of magical energy churns and crackles, powering the equipment in the laboratory with no sign of diminishing.
Commune with this place of power.
- After completion
The ball of magical energy churns and crackles, powering the equipment in the laboratory with no sign of diminishing.- (if Uzolan's Mechanical Orchestra unlocked and a Orichalcum Horn in inventory.)
Place an Orichalcum Horn into the power source- (if Bolt III: Zap is active, you have a Charged Quartz Crystal in your inventory, and you have not yet received Strangely Overcharged Quartz)
- Overcharge a Charged Quartz with this energy.
- The quartz hums with power.
- Leave.
- You've gained all you can from this place of power.
