This event is best completed if the An Unlikely Pirate meta event is not complete. It can still be completed even if the meta is completed, however it will be a much slower progress, as you will have to scour the Isle for sacks of loot and hidden treasure and there will be no Jetsam pirates to kill except those that randomly spawn from looting hidden treasure.
