- It was once earned by a hero who had helped to defeat the Great Destroyer. It was subsequently placed in the Hall of Monuments, where it has been guarded by the Ascalonian ghosts ever since. There, it waits for another hero worthy of its power.
- This weapon resembles the Storm Artifact from the original Guild Wars.
