One squad found Zeghai of the Lost in Malchor's Leap in Drowned Brine, just west of Explorer Cinnia (hero point). I don't really know how one would explain the exact location though, could someone update it? Finexen (talk) 14:28, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

Hmm. I stood in that exact spot for the entirety of his spawn window on NA IP 34.237.169.182 and he never spawned. Greyling (talk) 14:45, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

A fresh map shouldn't matter given that he needs to be able to spawn in any map, including those that won't get such. Further they've created technology to make objects, let alone NPCs, appear and disappear at any given time. Weird location for him to be at. Anyone got the time he was there? He was there for me at 16:15-16:40 CET (UTC+2 I believe, so it should be 14:15-14:40 UTC), he might be showing up in locations with a clear view of the sunrise. Finexen (talk) 15:13, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

Seems to spawn at xx:15. However, the xx seems to be slightly random, alternating between every hour to every two hours. ~Mervil 21:16, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

I'm guessing that the "hour skip" you've observed is when he wasn't found. Up to this point, I've seen him found every hour for the past 4 hours. --Musha 22:46, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

Dialogue Verification

I visited him with my Ranger and do not have a level 80 Revenant. His dialogue was, "I can see that you've had close dealings with the Mists. Do you wish to learn more?" --Musha 22:50, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

I only have a lvl 30 revenant. I visited him on a lvl 80 engi first, and I got the "Your mind is closed to the truth" dialogue, and no purchase option. But when I tried with my lvl 30 revenant afterwards, he was willing to sell me a recipe. -- kazerniel (talk) 23:28, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

Origin of Zeghai

I'll probably see if I can get a writer's response on Twitter, but as of right now I'm suspecting he has some ties to Razah in some way. The top half of Razah's face was concealed and Zeghai seems to be trying to conceal the top half of his with the hood, so maybe Zeghai is another entity produced by the mists? I know it's a bit of stretch, but it's the best I could come up with. Anybody have any thoughts/theories? --Teletric.3821 (talk) 14:10, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

I wouldn't use the face-covering as a clue. Razah was a ritualist, and wearing blindfolds was their schtick; revenants wear them too, which is pretty obviously a nod to the GW1 profession, and since Zeghai is a revenant/Mist-walker, it makes sense that his design would incorporate similar elements. Personally though, I don't see much resemblance. His purple hue actually reminds me more of the Margonites. --Idris (talk) 14:20, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Razah could be an option, though I think you're on to something with your Margonite hypothesis. His title "of the Lost" might be a reference to The Lost. And his appearance is very similar to certain Margonite NPC's. For instance the Apostate shares the same pulsing purple skin. On top of that, the Margonites (that are friendly) seem to be quite knowledgable about the Mists, seeing as the Apostate wrote The All.Sylen (talk) 21:38, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Viirastra/Artsariiv and Harbinger of Woe are also Mists travelers, though it's unclear whether any of the three originate from within the Mists like Razah, or are mortals who have become altered like it seems is the case for Skorvald the Shattered. Konig (talk) 23:34, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

I forgot about The Lost! Zeghai's skin looks a lot like a Margonite's visible skin, so I believe that he might be a Margonite of some kind now. --Teletric.3821 (talk) 14:09, 21 May 2018 (UTC)

Location & teleportation

Howdy. Just experienced this NPC for the first time, and his appearance/disappearance did not correlate with the existing timings we have of him (spawning at a new location each hour at XX:15, and stays on the map until XX:40" part specifically). While I couldn't track his arrival time, he was at stonefish beach in gendarren fields but disappeared the second I dismounted. This was odd because it was about 00:23 local, and that doesn't line up with either time provided on the page currently. Not sure what to make of this, but I figured i'd bring it to whomever's attention. --Neil • 23:35, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Nope. Cleared the cache twice, when the Whisper Bay location became highlighted I was already on top of the arch. He is not here. I even checked all the ledges and niches down the south face of the arch. Map 5 indicates the more northern of the two giant arches SW of the poi. He is not here.
