Forced categorization

Hey Teletric, just letting you know that you don't need to use letters at the end of [[Category:Guild Wars 1 skins|D]] unless you want to specifically use non-alphabetical ordering. Using just [[Category:Guild Wars 1 skins]] without the pipe and letter should be just fine. G R E E N E R 21:24, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

Relic Shenanigans

Sorry if I was stepping on your toes a bit there with the relics. PoF zone names

Where are you getting the zone names for Path of Fire? It certainly seems like they're from the leaks, which we should avoid using, if for no other reason than the fact that they are subject to change. For instance your "Oasis" map was actually called Crystal Oasis in the WoodenPotatoes post-show videos... 19:00, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

I was indeed using the leaks. The pages can be moved and renamed if the names turn out to be incorrect, but I feel it is best that we keep them for now since those leaks are the best reference for the names we have so far. --Teletric.3821 (talk) 19:03, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

I'm going to have to ask you to not use leaks as a source of information when creating pages and such for the PoF content. Turai dialogue

What is the actual Turai dialogue? Your edit makes it sound like the entire thing from then on is only if your account is linked, but your summary makes it sound like it's "The desert remembers?" option and response or just that one sentence in the whole, skipping right to the next. Is it just that one sentence missing, or an entire dialogue panel? Konig (talk) 21:44, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

It straight-up skips the "familiar spirit" dialogue panel and moves on to the Joko dialogue. So the "familiar spirit" dialogue doesn't exist for people without HoM. Sorry, I don't understand how to format the dialogue trees. --Teletric.3821 (talk) 21:46, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Another HoM linking dialogue request

Veteran Brigadier General Kernel has a line that seems similar to Turai's and Dunkoro's lines of familiarity with gw1 PC. Can you check if that is there without linking accounts? Thanks. Konig (talk) 20:16, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

I'm assuming the dialogue you are referring to is the one with the verification request on it. I have checked with a couple of guildies who do not have their accounts linked, and it seems that there isn't any difference between the dialogue with unlinked accounts. I believe the dialogue is suggesting that the player character already has some prior knowledge about the subject, but it's possible that it is a reference to an event in the story. Achievement names

If people want the weapon, we can use {{otheruses}} at the top of the page. Otherwise, those achievement pages should not use "(achievement)" and just be the simple names. - Do_odleplex 19:18, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

The problem is that for some weird reason, the suffixes from the rune are included in the names of those weapons when they should just be "Final Sting" and "Stonespite Cleaver", and that would conflict with the achievement if that were the case. --Teletric.3821 (talk) 19:22, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

While usually true, in this case, the name of the item in the achievement panel includes the "of Severance" part, so that's why in this case the pages were set up like that. - Do_odleplex 19:31, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

Legendary Dragon Stance and PoF

Regarding this note you added to Legendary Dragon Stance: I moved it up to the dialogue section so folks could get stuck into documenting the extra dialogue, but nearly a month later and nobody's touched it. What was your source for this? I'm going to be starting a story run on my revenant soon, so I'll verify any dialogue or lack thereof then, but I thought I'd check in with you first. --Idris (talk) 16:36, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

I was going to check on it myself with my Revenant after I finished training the Herald spec (I know I'm late on this). I read a few comments on the AMA for the PoF release that referenced Legendary Herald stance dialogue that was unique to the story, as well as dialogue for humans that were blessed by Balthazar. The latter proved to be true, but I was unable to play the entire story on a Herald. If you can verify it, it would be awesome! Good luck! --Teletric.3821 (talk) 05:53, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

I don't suppose you remember what those comments were? I've taken a look through the PoF AMA and I couldn't find anything using ctrl-F "dialogue", "Glint", "Herald", etc. It would be really helpful if you could help me narrow down what I'm supposed to be looking for, because right now I'm facing hours of standing still in every story instance while in dragon stance hoping Glint says something, interacting with every NPC in search of unique dialogue options, and being unable to play Renegade at all because I'll have to keep Herald equipped, just in case. --Idris (talk) 05:09, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

Alright, so I did the Ctrl+F thing on the AMA and I am sorry to say that the comment was removed/deleted. My guesses are that either the person who commented that deleted the post altogether because they were lying/assuming, edited it to remove that information because they were lying/assuming, or possibly a moderator deleted it because it wasn't a question (though I'd highly doubt it since there are many non-question comments in the thread).
