The Brand took our fields. We have some surplus stored down by the river, but drakes and Branded are keeping us from those stores. Long term, we'll have to figure out how to grow food closer to home.

Branded keep picking at this village. Sometimes they swarm in, as if they're searching for something. Then there's the drakes. The Brand disturbed their nesting patterns, so they're everywhere now.
