Text error[edit]

I'm not sure that "You any relation to Marjory Delaqua" is actually a text error. If anything, it's "Are you any relation..." with the word "are" deliberately omitted. - The Pointless talk 19:25, 18 March 2014 (UTC)

That would be the case if it were "related" rather than "relation". Konig 02:54, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
It's a colloquial phenomenon called a zero copula, and it's increasingly common to see it in direct questions like this. Belinda's response does the exact same thing: "You a friend of hers?" —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 03:16, 20 March 2014 (UTC)

Odachi[edit]

This skin really REALLY needs to be added to the game Neon (talk) 18:59, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

Your notion is definitely seconded. --Messenger (talk) 03:33, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
It most likely will. See the notes on her page. --Ventriloquist 08:57, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Race?[edit]

I think I saw a discussion elsewhere as well regarding this, but can't remember where. Is it really correct to say that her race = ghost? :S Surely, Belinda is a human ghost, no? Wouldn't human, sylvari, etc. be the race, regardless of living/dead/ghost - and "ghost" be some sort of additional info? Titus The Third User titus the third.png 18:53, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, the fact the "race" in the infobox redirects to bestiary speaks volumes. I think we're using race in its game-mechanics sense, groupings of critters that are all affected by the same mechanics - +10% damage to ghosts, for example. — snogratUser Snograt signature.png 20:23, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
I see. I never cared much for game mechanics :P Titus The Third User titus the third.png 21:42, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Spoiler Alert[edit]

I ain't no expert, but I figger havin' the ghost of this lady as the main photo ain't too relevant to who she really was, and anyhow, it's a spoiler. S'how I see it. 68.9.86.200 00:39, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

The Wiki should show the current state/appearance of an NPC; the spoiler tag is there to warn readers that the following paragraphs contain spoilers tied to her death. It's been over 2 weeks since she died and leaving her human-state-self would just be outdated information at this point. --Ventriloquist 01:38, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
Given the speed at which the Living World is progressing, anyone who hasn't played GW2 for more than two weeks should be prepared for spoilers whenever they access any GW2 fansite. The wiki came to a consensus that there was too much effort involved in trying to hide every single possible spoiler, since we'd basically have to obfuscate absolutely everything about Living World Season 2 until (some unspecified time in the future), when "the community" has decided it's no longer spoiler-ific material. It's a lot easier for the editors to not have to worry about that. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 02:29, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
On this topic, how long do we wait before we mention Belinda is now in Marjory's sword? And where would that sort of information even be filed? --Rognik (talk) 03:43, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

Profile picz[edit]

If her ghost is indeed gone, and this NPC has been completely removed from the game (except for story instances), I propose reverting her NPC photo to the "living" version. I feel it is more appropriate for this article, if (and only if) the ghost version was just a temporary one. Titus User titus the third.png 15:22, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

P.S. The new biography info I added could possibly be rephrased / improved upon. I just compiled everything real quick, and I'm no George R.R. Martin. So if anyone wants to fresh it up a little, please do! :) Titus User titus the third.png 15:38, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

I disagree. We should show her "newest" look, which is a ghost that can be encountered during The Ghosts of Fort Salma, and also her last appearance. —Ventriloquist 21:41, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
I'd prefer the non-ghost appearance as well, because I feel it's less of a spoiler (not that it matters much right now), and a colourless ghost is less interesting than the living ghost. If we want this to be the policy, that ghost form trumps living form, that works, too. --Rognik (talk) 03:54, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
Late to the party but I prefer utilizing the form that is most commonly seen. In this case, flesh and blood Belinda. Using the argument of "newest look" then we should have Risen Grechen on Havroun Grechen, ghost Gaheron on Gaheron Baelfire, corrupted Kudu on Kudu, risen Ferghen on Ferghen the Tracker. As you can see, images of the 'newest look' is seen in each case, but as secondary images because they're spoilers. In the same sense, over on GWW we had gww:Master Togo's main picture being of him alive, but an image of his ghost down below; we had gww:King Jalis Ironhammer's main picture of him flesh and blood but an image of him as stone down below. Same should be done with Belinda.

Race Again[edit]

Just pondering over here, but for the majority of the time we see her, she's a human. Shouldn't we go by that for the infobox, similar to how we went with "Mysterious Asura" for Arkk since that was what he went by until the last fractal was released? - Doodleplex 20:38, 28 August 2017 (UTC)

Since the previous discussion, we've gained the ability to list multiple races/organizations in the infobox... so why not both? Konig (talk) 23:34, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
