Dialogue
Dragon Bash
- After (in The Dead End)
- She's worried we won't have any clients. I keep telling her, as dark as this world is, there will always be someone who needs help.
- I know what you mean.
Blood and Madness
At Thunder Ridge Camp
- It's so hot here. My sweat is sweating. I suddenly understand why krait are so irritable.
- What's going on here?
- No clue yet. They're krait. Naturally mysterious and—as we've covered—irritable. All I know is they're up to no good, and there's an anomaly in the water out there.
- An anomaly? How's that?
- An illusion, if Kasmeer's right. There's an area we can't breech[sic]. An invisible barrier.
- Why are you here?
- The Great and Gorgeous Mesmer Collective, or whatever they call themselves, contacted Kasmeer to come down and take a look. Seems they admire her for more than her looks.
- I see.
- See you later.
Ambient dialogue
- Primary article: Thunder Ridge/historical#Blood and Madness
- Kasmeer Meade: I think I'm perspiring.
- Marjory Delaqua: Now I've seen everything.
Tower of Nightmares
At Thunder Ridge Camp
- Glad you're here. I need help gathering more spore samples so I can find an antitoxin to counteract this tower's poison.
- (If not unlocked the Toxic Spore Sampler achievement)
- You can have 1 of my spare samples.
- Thanks. I can use these.
- You can have 1 of my spare samples.
- You can have 5 of my spare samples.
- You can have 10 of my spare samples.
- You're welcome.
- (If unlocked the Toxic Spore Sampler achievement)
- Can I trade my extra samples for supplies?
- What else can I do to help?
- Cut down the toxic offshoots sprouting up around Kessex Hills and the surrounding areas before they poison everyone. And speak to Arcanist Dolja. I hear she's looking into the krait angle in all this.
- I'll do what I can.
- I think I must have missed something. (Replay "The Nightmare Unveiled.")
- Maybe later.
A Very Merry Wintersday
At Thunder Ridge Camp
- Hi there. Everyone's feeling better, it seems. Even the animals are frolicking. Chalk up for the good guys.
- So, what do you think Scarlet was up to?
- Your guess is as good as mine. She nearly poisoned all of Tyria with this plant. I'm betting she was after the toxin it created. Is that what you think too?
- Yes. She never does anything without a reason.
- So it seems. The lady obviously has a plan. We're gonna have to stop her, you know? Whatever the cost.
- I agree.
- No. I think she was just messing with us again.
- You may be right. She's crazy as a loon under a full moon. She sure seems to dislike you. What'd you do to her?
- I took away her toys.
- No time for conjecture. Good-bye.
- Good-bye.
At The Dead End
- Kasmeer's all fired up about Scarlet. Truth is, we both think we need to do something about her. Further investigation. Have you heard of Beigarth?
- (If not norn)
- Beigarth who?
- Some norn who lives in Hoelbrak. Apparently, he trained Scarlet for a while. I'm guessing he has some information on her. Someone should go talk to him.
- You mentioned E. What do you know?
- Not enough. We call him a 'he,' but we don't know if that's true. All we know is that he knows a lot. So, he must be fairly well connected. He hasn't been wrong yet.
- He contacts you often?
- Often enough. Usually with some tip about wrongdoings that need righted. You?
- Me too.
- I see.
- I agree.
- (If norn)
- There's a Beigarth in Hoelbrak.
- That's the one. He apparently trained Scarlet for a while. One of us should go find out what he knows.
- You mentioned E. What do you know? (same as above)
- I agree.
Ambient dialogue
- Kasmeer Meade: I can't believe she just sauntered into Divinity's Reach like that.
- Kasmeer Meade: Our poor queen. She must be beside herself. Our city, violated.
- Kasmeer Meade: This is our home. Are we not safe even here?
- Marjory Delaqua: Kas. Darlin', why don't you sit down. You're making my head spin.
- Kasmeer Meade: Sit? Are you kidding? How can I sit? We have to do something.
- Marjory Delaqua: What do you suggest we do?
- Kasmeer Meade: Find Scarlet. Someone in this city knows something. We should talk to people. I'll know if they're lying.
- Marjory Delaqua: Hm. You better be careful. People will start thinking that pretty head of yours isn't just for decoration.
- Marjory Delaqua: How long you in town for?
- Rox: Not much longer.
- Braham Eirsson: She's on leave, so we're exploring the city. But, she has to get back soon. She's trying out for Rytlock Brimstone's warband.
- Rox: Braham!
- Braham Eirsson: What?
- Kasmeer Meade: THE Rytlock Brimstone? That's amazing. So, you've met him? What's he like?
- Rox: He's the kind of warrior who'd kill you for talking about his personal business.
- Kasmeer Meade: Oh. Forget I asked.
- Marjory Delaqua: Our mystery man has been in touch.
- Kasmeer Meade: You mean E? What'd he want?
- Marjory Delaqua: To warn us, it seems. He says there's a war coming to our doorsteps, a war for all of Tyria.
- Kasmeer Meade: I don't suppose he could be any more mysterious, could he?
- Marjory Delaqua: I agree. I don't think he was trying hard enough.
Escape from Lion's Arch
At Postern Ward
- Marjory Delaqua: Kasmeer, stay close. Do you smell that? It's the Toxic Alliance. They've left their mark all over this place.
- Kasmeer Meade: I don't like the looks of this. Scarlet's taking over the entire city.
- Marjory Delaqua: Taking it over or destroying it. I'm not sure which.
- Kasmeer Meade: All these poor Lion's Archlings. Tossed from their homes.
- Marjory Delaqua: Archlings?
- Kasmeer Meade: (Laugh) Yes. I didn't like Lion's Archers. C'mon. Let's clear some of these glowy things out of here.
Battle for Lion's Arch
In Lornar's Pass refugee camp
- Your deductive skills are impressive. If you hadn't put all the clues together and come up with "Lion's Arch," we'd still be scrambling to get here.
- It was your contacts that got us the evidence.
- Teamwork, then. (sigh) It's pure madness in the city. I've seen dark things in my life, but nothing like this. This is the definition of evil.
- Scarlet has to be our first priority. How are you?
- I'm fine. Kas is keeping up a brave face, but her hiccups have worsened. She does that when she's afraid. It'd be adorable if it didn't only happen under terrible circumstances.
- Why doesn't she wait here?
- I've suggested it, but she won't let me go in alone. Part of me is thankful she's beside me. Another part is scared something will happen to her.
- As long as you have each other, you'll be fine, Marjory.
- Thanks!
Ambient dialogue
- When Assault Knights appear
- Marjory Delaqua: Stay close, Kasmeer! We're taking Lion's Arch back!
- When either Assault Knight or Prime Hologram event fails
- Marjory Delaqua: This isn't working! Run, Kas! Run!
- Kasmeer Meade: Oh dear. Running! Running...
