Hidden Arcana is a special instanced zone in the Shiverpeak Mountains. It primarily consists of the Durmand Priory's Special Collections, the Priory's primary library and storage of magical artifacts, as well as the off-limits section of it which contains the most dangerous magical artifacts that the Durmand Priory has found. One notable artifact is the Ornate Hourglass, which allows access to Glint's Lair, a version of which is also contained within this zone.

Getting there

• Only accessible in the following circumstances:
  • During the story missions Hidden Arcana and Arcana Obscura
  • Speaking with Ogden Stonehealer while working on The Dreamer I: The Experimental Short Bow, The Moot III: The Energizer, Astralaria I: The Device, or The Flameseeker Prophecies III: The Chosen
  • Speaking with Ely Scorchfire while working on The Convergence of Sorrow II: Requiem

Notes

• The areas do not count towards Shiverpeaks Explorer.
• This zone also has a copy of the Durmand Priory's library instance, which is in Lornar's Pass. However, this can only be accessed during the Hidden Arcana and Arcana Obscura story steps.
