The Ornate Hourglass is a seemingly innocuous object found within the basement of the Durmand Priory's Special Collections. It contains the single grain of sand in which a portal to Glint's Lair is hidden,[1] and thus is also known as Glint's Hourglass.

- This ornate hourglass is made of precious metals and has a palpable aura of magic. It is a portal to Glint's lair, but there's no need to go there at this time.

Trivia[edit]
- The text on the hourglass reads "I will be here when you return—when you have fulfilled your destiny" in New Krytan.
- This is said by the Vision of Glint in Guild Wars Prophecies to characters who haven't completed the final mission, Hell's Precipice.
