Dialogue[edit]

(If account is linked to the Hall of Monuments)
I'm Godaj, but something tells me you already knew that. Perhaps your ancestors traveled here when I was training the Sunspears. These days, I keep watch for the ghost eaters.
(Otherwise)
I'm Godaj. I trained the Sunspears long ago, but now I keep watch for the ghost eaters. If you're not careful, you might join us here someday.
Talk more option tango.png The ghost eaters?
Palawa Joko despises ghosts because he can't make us into Awakened. He sends special troops, the ghost eaters, to torment and weaken us.
Talk more option tango.png Weaken you?
We're heartier than we look, but we lose a bit of ourselves to rage and despair every time we're consumed. The fury can be pacified, but eventually it's irreversible.

Talk end option tango.png Watch out for the ghost eaters.
Talk more option tango.png You must have been here for a very long time.
For centuries. All things pass, in time. Turai Ossa defeated Joko once at the Battle of Jahai, and I have to believe he'll fall again.

Talk more option tango.png You trained the Sunspears? What can you tell me about them?
They were sworn defenders of Elona's three provinces: Istan, Kourna, and Vabbi. It's a bitter irony that they helped Joko reclaim his Bone Palace.
Talk more option tango.png Don't some Sunspears still exist today?
There are a few survivors. They've tried their best to help Elona survive the turmoil of Joko's rule, even while the Mordant Crescent hunts them.

Talk more option tango.png Helping Joko seems counterproductive.
He seemed the lesser evil, and they needed his help. Varesh Ossa was beyond saving, and the Realm of Torment had begun to corrupt Elona. Ask Dunkoro - he was there.

During the event Protect wandering spirits from ghost eaters
The ghost eaters have returned! Please, help us defeat them before they consume us.

Talk more option tango.png What brought the ghosts to the Lair of the Forgotten?
We're used to living in the ruins of history, I suppose. It's so close to the Realm of Torment that the Forgotten all but abandoned it. They certainly have no use for it now.
Talk more option tango.png Did they leave anything interesting behind?
Vissh Rakissh was the last of them, and his final words spoke of what he called "Glint's legacy."

Talk more option tango.png There are so many of you. Where did you all come from?
Anywhere and everywhere. The sisters were Ascalonian pilgrims who followed Turai Ossa. Dunkoro came recently. I died long before his time, when the last of the dynasties fell.
