The Eternal Portal gapes large in a narrow alcove of Blackroot Cut. Listening to its whispers will spawn an Aatxe and a pair of Shades— their defeat will complete the portal's hero challenge which is Defeat the beings from the Underworld.

Before completion

A voice whispers in your head, "We witnessed the birth of this world, we will witness its demise. We are the undying."

What do you want from me?

The whisper continues, "Show us your strength. We will grant no leniency, but defeat us, and be greatly rewarded."

After completion: The whisper is inaudible, but you sense malicious glee.; Leave this place.
