Dialogue[edit]

Hello! Have you come because of the tree as well?
Talk more option tango.png What is this place?
This? Why, it's the very last Forever Tree. At least, the last I know of. It is a hidden relic of an age lost past, when the Kurzick people flourished in this forest.
Talk more option tango.png What's a Forever Tree?
A magical tree sacred to the Kurzicks. They had a ritual in which the chosen among them was "purified of sin" and bonded with a Forever Tree.
Talk more option tango.png Go on.
The process made them into giant lumbering plant creatures... juggernauts... and as long as their Forever Tree was living, they lived with it.
Talk more option tango.png So... that Warden? (Same as "What's with that Warden?" below)
Talk more option tango.png So what are you trying to do to it? (Same as below)
Talk more option tango.png And you're trying to do what with the tree?
I want to heal it! I was trained by one of the menders that was healing Mother... sorry, the Pale Tree... and I thought those techniques could work here.
Talk more option tango.png Do they?
They do! But... only for a little while, so far. But the tree does still bloom! I'm very new at this, but I'm getting better.
Talk back option tango.png I'd like to ask you something else. (back to the dialogue start)
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.
Talk more option tango.png What's with that Warden?
Well, I think it's possible it may actually be one of those juggernauts. The Warden's not as big as the stories say, but... it is bound to a small tree, after all.
Talk more option tango.png Your friend doesn't seem real talkative.
Well... No, it isn't, unfortunately. It might help if it could tell us what the tree needed, but I've accepted that it is what it is.
Talk back option tango.png I'd like to ask you something else. (back to the dialogue start, but Doireann says "Certainly!" instead of her initial introduction)
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.
Talk more option tango.png Do you really think that Warden is a juggernaut?
I... I don't know... All I know is it hasn't left this tree, and it hasn't attacked me. Its only interest is protecting the tree. Maybe it only knows the tree is special. Or maybe... maybe it is.
Talk more option tango.png Hmm, I suppose it's possible...
Possible! Exactly! I suppose I could be wrong... Regardless, it won't harm us as long as we are helping the tree.
Talk back option tango.png I'd like to ask you something else. (back to the dialogue start)
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.
Talk more option tango.png That seems like a stretch to me.
You may be right... But regardless, it won't harm us as long as we are helping the tree.
Talk back option tango.png I'd like to ask you something else. (back to the dialogue start)
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.
Talk more option tango.png Who are you, exactly?
(if sylvari)
Doireann, of the Cycle of Dawn, sibling. Er—elder! Er—Commander! Forgive me for being so casual, I don't know how to address you... It's good to see a fellow sylvari here.
(if not sylvari)
Doireann, of the Cycle of Dawn. I hail, as you might imagine, from the Grove. I awakened from the Dream a few years ago. I've heard some of your exploits, Commander. It is an honor.
Talk back option tango.png I'd like to ask something else
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.
Talk more option tango.png Why are you here?
I saw this place in my Dream. I searched for it for years...seemingly in vain. Then I heard a tale about the great petrified forest of Cantha, and I knew I had to go there.
Talk more option tango.png How did you get here?
I begged one of the ambassadors to take me along—I promised I wouldn't say who—and I made my way here, led by my memories. It's just as it was in my Dream.
Talk back option tango.png I'd like to ask you something else.
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.
Talk more option tango.png What does your Wyld Hunt want you to do here?
I'm not sure exactly, but I believe it's my duty to help the Forever Tree flourish... And maybe help the Warden remember who it was once[sic].
Talk more option tango.png "Who it once was"? What do you mean? (Same as "What's with that Warden?" above)
Talk more option tango.png How do you mean to make the tree flourish? (Same as "And you're trying to do what with the tree?" above)
Talk back option tango.png I'd like to ask you something else. (back to the dialogue start)
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.

Talk end option tango.png Actually, I should be going.
Talk end option tango.png I need to be on my way.

Trivia[edit]

  • After her ritual is complete, Doireann inexplicably dies. The Warden of the Forever Tree revives her. This seems similar to how ancient Kurzick Juggernauts were able to revive next to the Forever Tree they were bound to.
