  • Rename all invocations of "Area infobox" to "Location infobox" to reflect new template name. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:21, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. All pages updated. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 13:27, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Run through recently added outfit images and add the armor gallery image template. Please and thanks! User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 11:11, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. Less than a 100 pages edited. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 13:27, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Now carrying out some other related image template cleanup. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 13:27, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Change | race = treant back to | race = plant on the pages in Category:Treants. I don't know what User:SkrittmanCometh was thinking, but he's wrong. They progress Plant Slayer and are plants. Konig (talk) 04:15, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
    • Also need reverts to User:SkrittmanCometh's changes to the Choya articles, ensuring they are all | race = plant with [[Category:Choya]] on the bottom. Konig (talk) 04:21, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
0No I disagree with these changes. Infobox should add "plants" when you specify either of the other options, and display both "plants" and "treant/choya". -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:49, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
1Yes 376 pages edited. I'm going to take the opportunity now to confirm the crafting tier is set correctly. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:41, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
Tier added to 233 pages. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:22, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
1Yes 62 pages edited. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:26, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. Sorry for the delay. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:23, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
Edited your initial request (in red) to clarify required edit. Done. 80 pages edited. --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:23, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
  • Move everything containing "Miniature Super" in their name to "Mini Super", but keep the redirects. User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 10:31, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. --Tolkyria (talk) 11:52, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
  • Update prefix selection attributes to "all exotic" for light/medium/heavy Ornate Guild armor, Cavalier warbeast pieces, Wurmslayer pieces, Refined Envoy armor, Experimental Envoy armor, Bladed armor.
1Yes Done. --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:13, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
  • Update prefix selection attributes to "all exotic" for Caladbolg weapons, Divine Sovereign weapons, Gold Fractal weapons, Haunted weapons, Hero's weapons, Kaiser Snake weapons, Reclaimed weapons, Plated weapons, Machined weapons, Bloodbound weapons --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:29, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. (edit: May have missed some which didn't have the prefix template, particularly Bloodbound weapons). --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:33, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. Some stories have different page name capitalization on the wiki vs in the API. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:28, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done, results visible on the updated table on Property talk:Has story chapter. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:39, 16 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Update links from [[Dragon Bash]] to [[Dragon Bash 2013|Dragon Bash]] Konig (talk) 03:41, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Started reviewing pages manually - particuarly templates. Probably one for the weekend due to high amount of manual involvement. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:43, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
Now complete. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 10:10, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:55, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
Do not remove it from the following categories, due to the items sometimes being consumables and sometimes being gizmos.
--Tolkyria (talk) 19:02, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Should be done, will no doubt have missed some due to crap formatting. 3828 edits performed. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:21, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
I found Double click to consume. without a dash on more than 200 pages. Request: please remove Double click to consume.<br> and Double click to consume. <br>from the description parameter in the category Category:Recipe sheets. --Tolkyria (talk) 10:06, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. --Tolkyria (talk) 10:10, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Check the API pages from the pages contained in Category:Consumables for detailstype=Immediate and change the item infobox parameter from type = consumable to type = service. Afterwards, remove the line "Double-click to consume." from the description in the Category:Service items. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:02, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. Item types edited on 293 pages from "consumable" to "service". 114 pages then edited to remove descriptions.
  • Where there are items with multiple ids with different types (e.g. Sand Shark Lure is both Generic and Immediate due to being changed), I've left it with type = consumable ... there's a full list here if you want to revisit this.
  • Additionally consumable items without ids have also been left untouched - these are all guild storage consumables like Guild Catapult.
  • I also took the opportunity to identify a couple of items with incorrect item ids (e.g. Hall of monument masques).
-Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 11:31, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, I have looked into your list with multiple types and updated half of them, e.g. Ancient Tusk, based on the notes they are services. However, not sure about Dwarven items. --Tolkyria (talk) 20:00, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Replace "Category:Weapons with unique skill activation sounds" with "Category:Weapons with unique sounds" per the merge notice on the former. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 22:15, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 09:44, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
1Yes This template isn't ready yet imo. I have the replacement script ready to go, however the first two pages both had "No gathering node found with this name." which highlighted to me an issue - the wild canonical match on this template might not be the best idea, and rich veins such as "Rich Mithril Vein" won't work because they're redirected to the normal ore page. Maybe we need to split the rich veins first before doing this? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 09:47, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
Other things I need to consider include asterisks instead of colons (approximately every 1/20 pages) and missing spaces between icons and text (less frequent)
Also need to remove any of the "_(node)" suffixes
^(?::|\*)(?: |)\{\{gathering icon\|(?:.*?)\}\}(?: |)\[\[(.*?)\|(?:.*?)\]\]
^(?::|\*)(?: |)\{\{gathering icon\|(?:.*?)\}\}(?: |)\[\[(.*?)\]\]
: {{gathering node|$1}}
I've put together a sample of the unique wikicode from the first 100 pages and put it in the sandbox. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 10:12, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
I removed the wildcard matching from the template. I also made it ignore the (node) suffix for now but the suffix should be removed when making the bot edits. I agree with splitting the rich veins; it makes sense in conjunction with the current discussion on the community portal. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 18:49, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
Done for all "Area" and "Guild hall" pages - 873 pages edited. I need to figure out what to do with the non-area usage for {{gathering icon}} (particularly POI articles - remove entirely?) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 13:28, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
  • For all pages in the category [[:Category:Primeval ghosts]], remove the organization parameter or remove the category as appropriate. These are npcs of type "ghost" which are adequately categorized under Category:Primeval Dynasty. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:30, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. 28 edits. Followed up by deleting the empty category. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 09:15, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Fix parameters for {{gathering node}} such that no area pages link to items instead of objects. Applies to: Iron Ore, Mithril Ore, Orichalcum Ore, Platinum Ore, Silver Ore, Copper Ore, Gold Ore, Artichoke, Cayenne Pepper, Ghost Pepper, Omnomberry, Orrian Truffle, Potato, Seaweed, Snow Truffle, Zucchini -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 16:02, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done, 112 pages edited. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 16:06, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Sort template parameters. That would increase code readability and make it clearer if a parameter is missing. —Kvothe (talk) 11:48, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
0No I've got no idea how to do this. I do most of my replacement scripts with regex. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:05, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
Inc mentioned on Discord that Doodle liked to run the bot to sort paramters. —Kvothe (talk) 22:11, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Many recipe sheets are "use" instead of "used". —Kvothe (talk) 14:25, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
Bot run started, 3604 potential pages. Surprised how many pages this is actually finding typos on so far. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 08:17, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
1Yes 125 pages edited. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 08:43, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. 592 pages edited. 316 skipped (mixture of done already (approx 133) and doesn't use nourishment template (feasts approx 183) --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 21:05, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Move [[:Category:Art by Dave Bolton]] to Category: Art by David Bolton, then replace all occurrences of Dave Bolton in descriptions, categorizations etc. with David Bolton. Almdudler (talk) 00:11, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. 43 pages edited (either to update the category or to update a link to the category). -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 08:13, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
  • /history subpages use a variety of icons in their patch notes, it has been proposed that the notes should be consistent. Personally I'm advocating removal of the icon templates (simple icon, skill icon, trait icon, effect icon, item icon) in favour of a plain wikilink. --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:30, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
1Yes 82 items (runes/sigils) updated.
1Yes 9 effects updated.
1Yes 1354 pages updated - Druid glyphs excluded as their variables complicate it due to using effect icon instead of skill fact. Ele glyphs ok.
0No ? traits updated.
-Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:29, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
Messed up a bit with some of the template substitution (had parameters reversed when there was a second parameter given). Tolkyria fixed some, I got the rest. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:44, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
Holding off on traits til I can check if any are using the icon templates within variables param. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:59, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
  • {{Skill infobox}} #1: convert anything using the "twohand" parameter in the skill infobox to the "bundle" parameter, except if the value is equal to spear, trident, speargun, hammer, greatsword, shortbow, longbow. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:44, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. 1805 pages updated. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:44, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

  • The API check doesn't work for the insignia and inscription tables, one can change this by using type=Insignia or type=Inscription for the \{\{recipe table}\}\ template, e.g.
\{\{recipe table|discipline=Tailor|min rating=400|max rating=499|type=Insignia}\}\

which then would replace the template \{\{Prefix craft table}\}\. as mentioned on discord by @Tolkyria, but for all the crafting insignia and inscription recipes? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Twospirited (talk) at 12:02, 28 September 2019‎ (UTC).

0No Not carried out. Instead, I updated the row template on 7th October to support recipe id. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:38, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
  • Revert the unlisted bot edits (12 October 2019, ~20:00 UTC), incorrectly replacing type = tonic, novelty with type = novelty. The tonic pages are:
    1. Tonics, i.e an item with an item id, rarity, etc...
    2. Novelty, i.e. the unlocked novelty when storing an item in the novelty tab.
and hence should be handled as those to ensure proper smw queries, either for novelties or for tonics.
E.g. Infinite Watchknight Tonic. A look in the history could have avoided this: see here, one edit before. --Tolkyria (talk) 08:18, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. Two days after posting it, reverted by hand. --Tolkyria (talk) 10:27, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
  • Bot edits (12 October 2019, ~20:00 UTC) introducing a new parameter food type (which only categorise but do not shows up in the Template:Item infobox as entry, why!), moving the type "crafting material" to food type (where it does nothing) and leaving the parameter material type which is also set to food types untouched. Not sure what to request here, maybe: 1) remove material type for food 2) display food type in infobox (infobox edit) 3) move crafting material back to type parameter. This needs some proper cleanup. E.g. Bowl of Tropical Fruit Salad --Tolkyria (talk) 08:38, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. 51 edits, moving crafting material from food type = <food type>, crafting material back to correct parameter type, e.g. Bowl of Tropical Fruit Salad.
Changed item infobox to display food type as long as material type isn't set, which in this case are the same, e.g. compare Cheese Pizza ("type = Food, Crafting material", hence Material type: Meal) and Plate of Truffle Steak Dinner ("type = Food" only, hence Food type: Meal). However, not sure if this is the best way to do. --Tolkyria (talk) 12:08, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
  • For articles in [[:Category:Holographic Dragon Minions]], change | organization = Holographic Dragon Minion to | organization = Holographic dragon minions. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 00:00, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
1Yes Done. 32 pages edited, plus infobox amended. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 11:02, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
1Yes Done. 63 pages edited. -AWB Alex User AWB Alex sig.png 17:09, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
1Yes I agree on the first one, however why not just leave a redirect from "A Very Merry Wintersday" to "A Very Merry Wintersday 2019" - then every year we only need to update one redirect. I actually think the Wintersday page should stay as the overview for all festival events. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 13:15, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
Sounds alright, should have thought of that myself. Shadow of the Mad King is in the same situation but links to the overview article. We should decide on one way. —Kvothe (talk) 13:34, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
