- Change

- 0 I disagree with these changes. Infobox should add "plants" when you specify either of the other options, and display both "plants" and "treant/choya". -Chieftain Alex 19:49, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
- Add
prefix
to item infobox for Category:Insignia and to Category:Inscriptions per discord conversation and this edit. --Chieftain Alex 20:06, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

- The first line of the ingame description of consumable items is "Double-click to consume.". The wiki consumable item pages however doesn't state this line consistently. Roughly speaking, 50% of the pages states this line, the other 50% doesn't. Therefore, the Template:Item infobox will be adjusted to display this line on default as soon as the type is set to consumable (or any related type) is called. The request is: remove all instances of this line, i.e.
Double-click to consume.<br>
,Double-click to consume.<br />
orDouble-click to consume<br>
(that are the spellings I have found so far) from thedescription
parameter in the following categories:- Category:Alcohol using

- Category:Boosters using

- Check the API pages from the pages contained in Category:Consumables for
details
→type=Immediate
and change the item infobox parameter fromtype = consumable
totype = service
. Afterwards, remove the line "Double-click to consume." from thedescription
in the Category:Service items. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:02, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. Item types edited on 293 pages from "consumable" to "service". 114 pages then edited to remove descriptions.
- Where there are items with multiple ids with different types (e.g. Sand Shark Lure is both Generic and Immediate due to being changed), I've left it with type = consumable ... there's a full list here if you want to revisit this.
- Additionally consumable items without ids have also been left untouched - these are all guild storage consumables like Guild Catapult.
- I also took the opportunity to identify a couple of items with incorrect item ids (e.g. Hall of monument masques).
- -Chieftain Alex 11:31, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, I have looked into your list with multiple types and updated half of them, e.g. Ancient Tusk, based on the notes they are services. However, not sure about Dwarven items. --Tolkyria (talk) 20:00, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. Item types edited on 293 pages from "consumable" to "service". 114 pages then edited to remove descriptions.
- Replace "Category:Weapons with unique skill activation sounds" with "Category:Weapons with unique sounds" per the merge notice on the former. -Chieftain Alex 22:15, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. -Chieftain Alex 09:44, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
- Replace uses of Gathering icon in area articles with Gathering node like https://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Cadem_Forest&diff=1915238&oldid=1851697 . --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 07:33, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- 1 This template isn't ready yet imo. I have the replacement script ready to go, however the first two pages both had "No gathering node found with this name." which highlighted to me an issue - the wild canonical match on this template might not be the best idea, and rich veins such as "Rich Mithril Vein" won't work because they're redirected to the normal ore page. Maybe we need to split the rich veins first before doing this? -Chieftain Alex 09:47, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- Other things I need to consider include asterisks instead of colons (approximately every 1/20 pages) and missing spaces between icons and text (less frequent)
- Also need to remove any of the "_(node)" suffixes

- I've put together a sample of the unique wikicode from the first 100 pages and put it in the sandbox. -Chieftain Alex 10:12, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- I removed the wildcard matching from the template. I also made it ignore the (node) suffix for now but the suffix should be removed when making the bot edits. I agree with splitting the rich veins; it makes sense in conjunction with the current discussion on the community portal. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 18:49, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- Done for all "Area" and "Guild hall" pages - 873 pages edited. I need to figure out what to do with the non-area usage for gathering icon (particularly POI articles - remove entirely?) -Chieftain Alex 13:28, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

- For all pages in the category :Category:Primeval ghosts, remove the organization parameter or remove the category as appropriate. These are npcs of type "ghost" which are adequately categorized under Category:Primeval Dynasty. -Chieftain Alex 17:30, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. 28 edits. Followed up by deleting the empty category. -Chieftain Alex 09:15, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- Fix parameters for gathering node such that no area pages link to items instead of objects.
Applies to: Iron Ore, Mithril Ore, Orichalcum Ore, Platinum Ore, Silver Ore, Copper Ore, Gold Ore, Artichoke, Cayenne Pepper, Ghost Pepper, Omnomberry, Orrian Truffle, Potato, Seaweed, Snow Truffle, Zucchini

- Sort template parameters. That would increase code readability and make it clearer if a parameter is missing. —Kvothe (talk) 11:48, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- 0 I've got no idea how to do this. I do most of my replacement scripts with regex. -Chieftain Alex 21:05, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
- Bot run started, 3604 potential pages. Surprised how many pages this is actually finding typos on so far. -Chieftain Alex 08:17, 28 September 2019 (UTC)

- Move :Category:Art by Dave Bolton to Category: Art by David Bolton, then replace all occurrences of Dave Bolton in descriptions, categorizations etc. with David Bolton. Almdudler (talk) 00:11, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. 43 pages edited (either to update the category or to update a link to the category). -Chieftain Alex 08:13, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
- /history subpages use a variety of icons in their patch notes, it has been proposed that the notes should be consistent. Personally I'm advocating removal of the icon templates (simple icon, skill icon, trait icon, effect icon, item icon) in favour of a plain wikilink. --Chieftain Alex 19:30, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- 1 82 items (runes/sigils) updated.
- 1 9 effects updated.
- 1 1354 pages updated - Druid glyphs excluded as their variables complicate it due to using effect icon instead of skill fact. Ele glyphs ok.
- 0 ? traits updated.
- -Chieftain Alex 19:29, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- Messed up a bit with some of the template substitution (had parameters reversed when there was a second parameter given). Tolkyria fixed some, I got the rest. -Chieftain Alex 20:44, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- Holding off on traits til I can check if any are using the icon templates within variables param. -Chieftain Alex 20:59, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

- Skill infobox #1: convert anything using the "twohand" parameter in the skill infobox to the "bundle" parameter, except if the value is equal to spear, trident, speargun, hammer, greatsword, shortbow, longbow. -Chieftain Alex 19:44, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. 1805 pages updated. -Chieftain Alex 19:44, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

- 1 Done. 1805 pages updated. -Chieftain Alex 19:44, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
- The API check doesn't work for the insignia and inscription tables, one can change this by using type=Insignia or type=Inscription for the \{\{recipe table}\}\ template, e.g.
\{\{recipe table|discipline=Tailor|min rating=400|max rating=499|type=Insignia}\}\
which then would replace the template \{\{Prefix craft table}\}\. as mentioned on discord by @Tolkyria, but for all the crafting insignia and inscription recipes? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Twospirited (talk) at 12:02, 28 September 2019 (UTC).
- 0 Not carried out. Instead, I updated the row template on 7th October to support recipe id. -Chieftain Alex 18:38, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Revert the unlisted bot edits (12 October 2019, ~20:00 UTC), incorrectly replacing
type = tonic, novelty
withtype = novelty
. The tonic pages are:- Tonics, i.e an item with an item id, rarity, etc...
- Novelty, i.e. the unlocked novelty when storing an item in the novelty tab.
- and hence should be handled as those to ensure proper smw queries, either for novelties or for tonics.
- E.g. Infinite Watchknight Tonic. A look in the history could have avoided this: see here, one edit before. --Tolkyria (talk) 08:18, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- Bot edits (12 October 2019, ~20:00 UTC) introducing a new parameter
food type
(which only categorise but do not shows up in the Template:Item infobox as entry, why!), moving thetype
"crafting material" tofood type
(where it does nothing) and leaving the parametermaterial type
which is also set to food types untouched. Not sure what to request here, maybe: 1) remove material type for food 2) display food type in infobox (infobox edit) 3) move crafting material back to type parameter. This needs some proper cleanup. E.g. Bowl of Tropical Fruit Salad --Tolkyria (talk) 08:38, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. 51 edits, moving
crafting material
fromfood type = <food type>, crafting material
back to correct parametertype
, e.g. Bowl of Tropical Fruit Salad. - Changed item infobox to display food type as long as material type isn't set, which in this case are the same, e.g. compare Cheese Pizza ("type = Food, Crafting material", hence Material type: Meal) and Plate of Truffle Steak Dinner ("type = Food" only, hence Food type: Meal). However, not sure if this is the best way to do. --Tolkyria (talk) 12:08, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. 51 edits, moving
- For articles in :Category:Holographic Dragon Minions, change

to| organization = Holographic dragon minions
. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 00:00, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. 32 pages edited, plus infobox amended. -Chieftain Alex 11:02, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- Go through the recently uploaded raster tiles and add the category Category:Bjora Marches raster tiles to the tiles which overlap with the Grothmar Valley ones. -Chieftain Alex 17:04, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
- 1 Done. 63 pages edited. -AWB Alex 17:09, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
- Move A Very Merry Wintersday to A Very Merry Wintersday 2019 and then Wintersday to A Very Merry Wintersday and relink respectively. Makeing 'A Very Merry Wintersday' the overview page, we dont have to move the new page each year, like the other festivals are done now too. —Kvothe (talk) 13:05, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
- 1 I agree on the first one, however why not just leave a redirect from "A Very Merry Wintersday" to "A Very Merry Wintersday 2019" - then every year we only need to update one redirect. I actually think the Wintersday page should stay as the overview for all festival events. -Chieftain Alex 13:15, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
- Sounds alright, should have thought of that myself. Shadow of the Mad King is in the same situation but links to the overview article. We should decide on one way. —Kvothe (talk) 13:34, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
