Dialogue[edit]

Incomplete heart (map icon).png
The dredge here are usually strong. We think they're getting their power from this mine's ore. Our limited forces are keeping us from knowing for sure, and from stopping them.
If the player has ore in their inventory
Talk give option tango.png
I found this ore. What should I do with it?
Incomplete heart (map icon).png
A fantastic find! That'll help us with our research. Go and place it in the nearby rock grinder.
Talk end option tango.png
Good-bye.
Talk more option tango.png
Is there something I can do?
Incomplete heart (map icon).png
Yes. To slow the dredge's progress, cull their numbers and destroy their weapon caches. And if you find any ore samples, bring them back here.
Talk more option tango.png
Tell me more about their weapon caches.
Incomplete heart (map icon).png
Solidly built, but easy enough to break. Just rewire the cache's door and it will overheat and explode.
Talk back option tango.png
Is there something I can do to help?
Talk end option tango.png
That'll make my job easier. I'm off!
Talk more option tango.png
You want me to kill dredge?
Incomplete heart (map icon).png
Eliminating their miners will slow them down. It'll also give us time to study the devices they've made from this ore. That should unravel a mystery or two.
Talk more option tango.png
Tell me about the ore.
Incomplete heart (map icon).png
This mine once belonged to dwarves, and our tomes suggest they did something to the ore to make it stronger. How, we don't know. We're here to unravel that mystery.
Talk back option tango.png
Are there other ways I can help?

I'll see what I can do.
Talk more option tango.png
And once I have the ore samples?
Incomplete heart (map icon).png
Put it in the nearby rock grinder. We'll study the fragments to learn the ore's properties

I'll think about it.

I'm sure reinforcements are on the way.
Complete heart (map icon).png
You've slowed the dredge and gave us time to study the ore. To show our thanks, the Durmand Priory would like to reward you.

Let's see what you have.

I'm fine, thanks. Good luck with your research.
