"said articles" -- Said where? Certainly not on the talk page :P
If you mean Flax, Klab and Thud (lol nice name, bro), then no. User A F K When Needed Signature Icon.png A F K When Needed 23:06, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
"there is no need for that quotation when other like-minded articles paraphrase the information."-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 07:57, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Meant to get to this earlier. Like-minded articles: Tribune, Nightmare Court, Cycle, Shining Blade, Seraph, Ministry Guard, College of Dynamics, College of Statics, College of Synergetics, and every other article which obtains information from the blog posts and official site pages. None of them hold quotations about them except races and Koda (the last which is done to mirror the other god pages). Konig/talk 15:11, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Edit: Correction, cycle does and should be also reworked into paraphrasing, as that set up looks bad imo. Konig/talk 15:12, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
why are we not quoting the blog? is there a discussion about that somewhere? my feeling is this is the wiki and we are here to document the game. and the blog is a official site, with official information. and said information should be placed on the wiki.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 23:09, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Because the quotation template, especially when it is the majority of a page or, god forbid, used multiple times on a page, is ugly? Though that's my personal opinion, it is better (aka less fluff) to paraphrase than to quote. Less fluff means less scrolling while having the same amount of information. I never once said we shouldn't have the information, but I said that it shouldn't use the {{quotation}} template - it should be paraphrased, using our own words to state what's in the game and in official information. No one ever said anything about not "document[ing] the game" or not placing information on the wiki. Konig/talk 23:51, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) On another note, often times the word choice in blog posts is very, well, wordy. The wiki is encyclopedic and, therefore, paraphrasing is much more appropriate. Aqua (T|C) 00:41, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

As an example, compare this to this. All of the information is still there, but the ugly quadruple-quote, excessive spacing, and extra wordiness is not. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 01:21, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
well it really dose not bother me so whatever. i really dont care if i have to use my scroll weal or not.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 02:46, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
It's not a question of length; it's one of aesthetically pleasing formatting and easy to find information. Aqua (T|C) 20:01, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Councilor Vark[edit]

What source and proof he is part of the council? It has even an orthographic mistake, who knows, maybe even anet themselves forgot about arcane council, and it is yark in fact. I ask it to be removed until confirmation from a dev or reappearance in future chapters or episode. There is no clear dialogue. --78.237.158.191 08:53, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Vark speaks on the same level of authority as the other Council members present. As to the title "misspelling", incidentally councilor is the correct way of spelling the word - whereas councillor seems to have been an intentional misspelling from the PS to fantasize the word a bit, so the "mistake" is understandable. It is not Yahk, as the two have completely different models. 173.188.206.52 11:22, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
