Devouring the Brand is a meta event that takes place in Iron Marches.

Dynamic events

• There are currently no major operations in the Brand.
• Sentinel Whiptail is searching for a powerful ally in Lamprey Grottoes.
  • Protect Sentinel Whiptail while he finds and tames a siege devourer (56)
• The Sentinels at Brandwatch Encampment are preparing to assault the Brand.
  • Help the Sentinels clear a path across Lake Desolann (57)
    • Escort Centurion Bloodfist to Day's Labor (57)
    • Defend the siege devourer while it assists the troops (57)
• The Sentinels are rallying troops in the Brand
  • Free Sentinels from Branded crystals and escort them back to the main group (58)
• The Sentinels are clearing Branded devourer nests from the infestation
  • Destroy Branded devourer nests (59)
• The Sentinels are battling the Branded devourer queen.

Notes

Bug:

This meta event will often stall at any of the events involving the Siege Devourer as an ally and objective. At some point the devourer may become neutral to enemies and stop advancing, and Sentinel Whiptail will return to Brandwatch, making impossible to continue the meta event.

• If an event stalls, players can try to come back after updates, and at the times guilds are attempting the Save Our Supplies Guild Challenge. As players leave, the Volunteer's Blessing may appear, allowing players to visit other maps. Hopefully, a newly generated map not have a stalled Devouring the Brand.
• Escort Sentinel Scalebrusher and his devourers to the pen seems to start the Meta Event though it begins too far outside the area to be counted as part of the Meta itself. The entire event chain starts with Gather devourer eggs for Scalecatch Village.
