Dialogue[edit]
- A couple accidents, and they force me to work outside the village. Do they not realize this is our heritage? Our craft?
- I'll leave you to your work.
- If HOPE I: Research is active
- Yes? May I help you?
- I wish to learn hylek alchemy.
- I have been hoping to find an apprentice worthy of teaching. However, you will have to prove you're worth my time if you wish to know our secrets.
- I will do what it takes. Where do I start?
- Good, I will teach you about three of the major areas of hylek alchemy. Poisons, medicines, and fire-breathing.
- How do I make these potions? (Recieves Hylek Alchemy Apprentice Tome)
- Thank you for your time.
- Thank you for your time.
- Why are you set up outside of the village?

- Thank you for your time.
- Never mind

- (Only with Vial of Potent Hylek Poison in your inventory)
- I am ready to test my poisons.
- In order to test the potency of your poison, you will need to use it against me. Don't worry, I have plenty of antidote. Apply your poison to your weapon, and then attack me.
- Are you ready, Master? (Initiates combat. Atlalli becomes neutral immediately if you did not prepare your weapon)
- I have something else I need from you first.
- One moment—I need to prepare.
- (Only with Vial of Healing Breath in your inventory)
- I am ready to test medicinals.
- In order to truly test your mixture, I will have you use it to heal me. Use your Hylek Medicinals to make me healthy again.
- I will not fail you, Master. (Reduces Atlalli to 10% health. He will be unable to be interacted with until healed by three blasts of Healing Breath or until he naturally regenerates. No other healing works)

- One moment—I need to prepare.
- (Only with Sun God's Breath Flask in your inventory)
- I am ready to test Sun God's Breath.
- This is a sacred mixture, for my people. There are some River Fireflies nearby—learn the ways of this elixir by using it against them. Five should sufficiently show me your ability.
- I will return, Master.
- (After using the Sun God's Breath Flask on 1-4 Fireflies)
- I have tested the Sun God's Breath on fireflies.
- Do not return until you have tested the entire elixir. You must slay at least five River Fireflies using the Sun God's Breath.
- I will return, Master.
- Tell me again-how do I get started? (Same as "How do I make these potions?" above)
- Show me your wares.
- I'll be on my way.
- After completing HOPE I: Research
- You have learned the basics of alchemy. Now, it's up to you to follow the path laid before you.
- (If HOPE IV: The Catalyst is unlocked)
- I require a technique for extracting ichor from insects.
- As you are a student I am proud of, I shall grant you this request.
- Thank you, Master. (Credits Ichor Extraction Technique to your collection)
- Show me your wares.
- Thank you, for everything.
