HOPE II: Development is a Legendary Weapons collection achievement to gain the precursor weapon, Prototype, for the legendary pistol, HOPE. This collection is the second step to obtain the second tier of the precursor, Development.

Notes[edit]
- This stage of creating HOPE will have you interfacing primarily with two NPCs: Scholar Mossi and a Master Huntsman. Additionally, you will need to buy a component from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs.
- The Master Huntsman will task you with crafting an enormous amount of pistols and pistol components. This stage is particularly costly in terms of materials.
- You may use any Master Huntsman as your mentor. You can use multiple Master Huntsmen if you like. Your progress will be maintained between them no matter how many you deal with.
- It is not necessary to unlock the recipes with your Huntsman.
- Scholar Mossi asks you for various rare materials and Maguuma Wastes currencies to further her own research. She functions much like a merchant.
Requirements[edit]
- The ascended materials used in this step (25 Deldrimor Steel Ingots, 15 Spiritwood Planks) will require 25 days to craft, if you are starting from scratch and do not resort to the trade post.
Huntsman 500 is required to complete the collection. The Basic Pistol Requisition requires crafting level 300, but the experience counts all the way to level 500, so you can easily finish leveling up your crafting discipline if necessary.- Magister of Legends (Legendary Crafting 2) is required to complete the collection. Productive Downtime (Pact Commander 2) synergizes well with all the crafting.
- Along with purchasable or craftable components, 400 Geodes and 1000 Bandit Crests are required for the collection.
