Apprentice Mekteki is an Ectoplasm merchant who accepts Globs of Ectoplasm and coin in exchange for Destabilized Ectoplasm, a container item that produces random amounts of Globs of Ectoplasm and valuable junk items when consumed.

- Prior to the rebuild of Lion's Arch finished in 1328 AE, this NPC was located in Sanctum Harbor.[verification requested]
- To reach her, proceed to the
Diverse Ledges Waypoint — and then drop into the water east of it. Adjacent to the POI, there are ruins flanked by two stone staircases, and between these ruins, there is a curtain of seaweed obscuring the square entrance. Head through the entrance, go up, and surface in the new area where there will be a ramp adjacent to a rowboat. Past the rowboat is a ramp that winds uphill leading to Apprentice Mekteki. Alternatively, a mesmer can create a portal for others waiting on the rocks below to the north of Apprentice Mekteki, which can be reached by going due south from the large tent next to the Durmand Priory Research Site. A character with a springer or a griffon mount can hop up to Melekteti by going due south from that same large tent, into the cave.
