Would it be good to have a table on this page with a summary of what is contained inside dabs, clumps, and globs of destabilized ectoplasm?

If so, I would like to learn how to build a table. Can someone point me to instructions for how to build a table? Thanks! Daddicus (talk)

Well, all that information is already located under Contents of the each container sold by this NPC, repeating that here would be a bit unnecessary, as it is information readers can find out in a single click. As for the tables, Template:STDT is the most used table for a variety of contents, and the process of creating one (and its appearance) is neatly explained here. I'm not a template guy, so if you have further questions, some of the more experienced peeps would be happy to help you in that area. —Ventriloquist 15:47, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
Actually, 3 independent clicks, each of which points to almost the same list (but with different quantities). It seems to me a table is needed; I'm just not sure where to put it.
Also, I found the instructions for building a table, so I don't need that any more. Daddicus (talk)

Suggested table[edit]

Here's the kind of thing I'm thinking of. This might be better if it were in some drop research location, though.

Also, it would probably be good to make the other 3 pages and this table all key off the same values (so we don't have to update the same info in two places every time it changes). I have no idea how to do that. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Daddicus (talk) at 16:11, 25 June 2015 (UTC).

Bad Odds[edit]

Unsurprisingly, over the long term, the odds appear to slightly favor the "house", based on drop rate research. Meaning that this is not a method to "get rich quick", something Anet will never intentionally program. You will lose over the long term, since you do not have infinite resources, when you hit a run of "bad luck". Like going to Las Vegas or any other gambling house, the only way to "win" is to quit if and when you get ahead or cheat (and you cannot "count cards" here). ~ 1Maven (talk) 16:52, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

Getting There[edit]

The alternative is technically incorrect, the Tarktun portal item obtained by completing the achievement does not (tele)port the player, it simply opens up the vendor interface with two additional options to buy the ascended globs in sets of 4 or 20. It should also be noted that this quality of the vendor portal item is not explained on its page either. Players should not expect to be relocated upon use of the item. --162.199.226.246 08:44, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
