Wozmack the Wonderful

Wozmack the Wonderful is a human magician that was hired by Lord Faren for the Hero of Shaemoor's welcome home party. He performs a series of tricks that doesn't entertain the crowd (summoning birds that attack him, turning his skin magenta) before pulling a disappearing act which explodes him. He re-appears later at Fort Trinity during the celebration of Zhaitan's defeat, where he performs the same magic tricks, with one new addition: phantasmal dancing moas.

Later, Wozmack ended up in Verdant Brink, at the wreckage of Faren's Flyer. When talked to, he tells the player that he boarded the airship believing it to be his big break after his failed performances. He also reveals that he's working on a new trick with rabbits, but it's still in development.

During the Festival of the Four Winds on behalf of the Captain's Council, Wozmack summons the celebratory effigy to celebrate the successful loot plunder.

Dialogue[edit]

In Verdant Brink during the day
I should have stuck to performing at kids' parties. This is a nightmare!
Talk more option tango.png Why did you get on the airship?
That cursed airship! I thought it would be my big break. After my failed performance, no one would hire me. This was my last chance at greatness!
Talk back option tango.png May I ask you something else?
Talk end option tango.png I'm sorry to hear that. Good-bye.
Talk more option tango.png So, are you working on any new tricks?
Well, there's the one that pulls rabbits out of your ear, but I'm still in testing. Thankfully, most people stop spewing rabbits after just a few days.

Talk end option tango.png Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png Good-bye.
In Verdant Brink during the night
It's times like this that make me wish I'd studied harder in school. I could have been a real mesmer.
Talk more option tango.png You wanted to be a mesmer?
Oh, yes, very much so. But my teachers quickly crushed those illusions.
Talk back option tango.png May I ask you something else?
Talk end option tango.png Thank you. Good-bye.
Talk more option tango.png Where did you go to school?
At Divinity Heights, of course! I failed the class on verbs, though. It was too in-tense.
Talk back option tango.png Good to know. May I ask you something else?
Talk end option tango.png Thank you. Good-bye.
Talk more option tango.png How are your new tricks coming?
Very well! I turned something invisible! ...Or disintegrated it. I'm not sure which.
Talk back option tango.png That's incredible. May I ask you something else?
Talk end option tango.png Interesting. Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png Thank you for your time. Good-bye.

Quotes[edit]

In Labyrinthine Cliffs
I'm here to entertain.
Forget your troubles.
Remember to eat more sweets!
You have Caudecus to thank for this.
Fun times.

Trivia[edit]

  • Wozmack's last trick, which he warns he can only do once, is a reference to Daffy Duck's magic trick, which also results in an explosion.
  • Wozmack's name may be a tribute to Steve Wozniak, one of the co-founders of Apple Computers.
  • To see Wozmack at Fort Trinity, remain in the final story instance after your personal story is completed, instead of leaving the instance. Stand near the Destiny's Edge members and wait for the song "Fear Not This Night" to finish playing (if it is your story, the credits will roll during this time). Wozmack will appear shortly after.
