Historical content[edit]
Hi, thanks for marking the dungeon vendor NPCs as historical. Tiny thing though, rather than adding {{historical content}}
directly to the article, if the article contains an infobox - these pages used NPC infobox - add | status = historical
to the infobox instead. This means that the pages don't appear in automatically generated queries etc. Example of what I'm describing. Cheers.
PS, the random IP above was a gibberish spammer robot :P -Chieftain Alex 17:37, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice. i saw that Canal Ward had
{{historical content}}
in the code. Thats why i used for other pages. I'll add| status = historical
to npc from now :) - Raikiri 18:45, 26 June 2015 (UTC)- It's not only used on NPCs, but on every page that has an infobox. Canal Ward shouldn't be using
{{historical content}}
, whereas pages such as Effect should, as their contents do not include an infobox. —Ventriloquist 17:48, 26 June 2015 (UTC)- yeah pretty sure he just typed NPC instead of infobox :D think we got it covered.-Chieftain Alex 18:02, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I will replace all of them now - Raikiri 19:04, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

Ad Infinitum trail effect[edit]
Hey, you wrote "Ad Infinitum trail effect added" in the wiki general notes section in 1st December update of 2015. Where did you got that information since there is no recipe to create Ad Infinitum and there is no trail in the preview window?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by W.Wolf (talk • contribs) at 12:30, 16 December 2015 (UTC).
- I got it from a reddit post. If you check some screenshots of Ad Infinitum right after the HoT launch, you won't see blue dots coming out from the cubes. The image in the reveal post from Anet, also have the blue dots. If you check it now in preview window, you will see then, and if rotate you character you will notice a trail of those particles, just like other backpacks with trail leave behind. - Raikiri 18:57, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Applied Force icon updated in today's patch[edit]

- a month after and is still the same icon - Raikiri 22:27, 16 March 20016 (UTC)
Dab of Destabilized Ectoplasm Research[edit]
Can you confirm that you actually received an Unidentifiable Goo-Covered Object doing that research, and that's not a type )of a glob of ecto, for example?) You are the only recorded recipient, and I've done over 1500 attempts without getting one. Thanks! Orenwolf (talk) 21:29, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- I'm almost sure it came from a Dab. It was realy long time ago, when this npc was added. I even remember getting a Mystic Core from it. I remember that i only could buy Dabs because i didn't have enough ectos to buy Globs. But it could happen that i bought a Clump. That means that there is a small change of coming from a Clump. But in the drop rate of Clump, only a player got 6. I'm 100% sure that i didn't bought a Glob cause i never got all that money or ectos to spend. I would guess 95% from a Dab, 5% from a Clump, 0% from a Glob - Raikiri 22:42, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Raid content[edit]
<3 for all the work on the raid pages by the way. You seem to have the nack of always covering the work I am dreading to do, so I personally very much appreciate it! -Darqam (talk) 15:45, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- no problem! ^^ I get a little sad when I see that everyone writes the walkthoughts (Dulfy, WP, ...) and we are always the last one have it. But do some grammar revision because English is not my native language and I might have done some mistakes :/ - Raikiri 15:52, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- Well now that you've added the last chunk of the walkthrough, I might sit down soon and go through everything at once. Hopefully catch a few things and update them. As for the speed at which we write walkthroughs, I feel it's mainly because we try to not give a specific strategy but rather an overview of the mechanics and generic hints. It's much harder (and time consuming) to talk about everything instead of one single course of action. Plus, we beat ll other sources combined in amount of information anyway so I don't feel bad :D. -Darqam (talk) 15:57, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

Triumphant Armor Female Asura[edit]
Thank you for editing the screenshots. I took screens of all the different races, heavy, medium, light, front, back. After trying to have them all match in size etc. I just gave up because it took so much time, so thank you! Lacrisma.1540 (talk) 12:21, 25 June 2016 (UTC)

Dialogue icons[edit]
Just wanted to double check, for Risah Deathhunter did you get the "end" and "more" icons mixed up for "Perharp(<-is that the right spelling?) I'll check out Incendium Templum then" and "Is there any way to get inside" or was it like that in the dialogue box? - Doodleplex 01:02, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- i did! thanks for noticing and warning me. it was really late when i did that and didn't see the mistakes ^^ - Raikiri 14:00, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
NPCs and Ambient dialogue[edit]
Ambient dialogue only goes on area pages, not NPC pages, unless the NPC is seasonal such as Drooburt's Ghost or Finolla. Just a heads up. =) - Doodleplex 18:15, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
Nice Little Maps[edit]
I quite like the little map you did for Blaine with the icon like that, it was very simple and clean, which I love for maps. The current images we have for Ridhais's location in each home instance after the little mini quest is complete are a bit busy, so if you could do the same for each of those, I'd appreciate it, but if you can't or don't want to, no biggie. Cheers! =) - Doodleplex 18:47, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
Fire Imps[edit]
Can I ask where you found Fire Imps in The Hinterlabs? Unless they were added without my knowledge or event-related, I'm pretty sure there aren't any there. Thanks. || Louise || 17:16, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- They are spawned when choosing "Advanced psychokinetics" in the Progeny Teaching Apparatus in the Assist Professor Gahf in teaching his young progeny heart in The Hinterlabs. I copied the Fire Imp article to create the article of Storm Imp for the Wiki of Gold project and noticed the missing location on Fire Imp. I just added the "Heart involvement" for better clarification :) - Raikiri 17:27, 03 July 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah about that, while I do agree about listing the location for the Storm Imp since it is unique to this place (for now), Fire Imps can be found throughout various areas at all times, without the need to be spawned-in. Areas where the specific mob needs to be spawned-in via a specific object/device aren't listed on their main article's locations section but on the specific heart they contribute to, if I'm not mistaken. || Louise || 17:34, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- Nah, they should be listed, just properly marked e.g. (only spawns when interacting with x). —Ventriloquist 22:11, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- I only saw this done about events-only mobs, never hearts-only, hence why I said what I said. At the very least, I'm more favorable towards adding their heart invovlement than adding the locations they get spawned-in with said hearts activities in the list. || Louise || 00:08, 4 July 2017 (UTC)

Icons[edit]
Hi there Raikiri! To save you the trouble of uploading icons, a nice user already uploaded all PoF-related icons here. So, for example, you can find skill icons (for Sohothin) in the 128x128 section, near the bottom icons. Once you've found an icon, you can just use the move function to move it to the appropriate name. Hopefully it helps! —Ventriloquist 14:44, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
- Oh. i didn't knew that. sorry. :( i didn't got a warning of duplicated icon when i tried to upload. :/ - Raikiri 14:48, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
- No worries! The reason why you didn't get a warning is because the icons I linked don't have a name (yet), they're sorted by numbers, not names. The wiki is a bit confused when it comes to detecting visual duplicates (the appearance of an icon, for example), so it's really nothing to worry. Just wanted to let you know there's an easier method! :) —Ventriloquist 14:51, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
Trait description change[edit]
Ok, how did you notice this change? Just dumb luck you were looking at it, or do you have a tracker going somewhere? -Darqam 19:52, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
- it was only luck :) i forgot to check the in-game description. after reading it in the wiki, it didn't made sense to have "decreased cooldown" when now in spvp and wvw it has increased cooldown. then i checked in-game and noticed that it was diferent - Raikiri 11:31, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
Tyria Map[edit]
So I only now noticed that our map of the zones (File:Tyria map with zones.jpg) has had the wrong level range for Fireheart Rise for a long while now. Since it's hopefully a minor fix for you, can you update it to be the proper 60 – 70 it should be? Cantha at some point too if you're up for that but this is at least an easy fix. --Dak393 (talk) 14:34, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
