Tansclusion/Include of pages

Hey,

I noticed you were copy-pasting some sections of your guides in several places, most notably the Meta Food section (you have the page itself, the raid guide and now Tanetris guide too). So looked up a bit and there is a nice way to only have to maintain one of those pages (for the table mostly since it's the more annoying/worth). It could be extended for other things to make some parts of the guides more modular. If you want to have a look I did a small example on my page. Since it's not a small change I did not want to go in and change it myself on your pages without mentionning it before. If you think it could be useful I could set it up over the weekend (or yourself if you are faster than me ^^).

You're right, I should set that up! It got this way due to me wanting to have a separate page for it and then including it back in my in progress raid guide. I'm not sure what I want to do with the User:Tanetris/So You Want To Gear a Character guide since that's still kind of his and I think it should all be there maybe? Extended Editor rights

Hey Dak, I see that you've been doing a lot of moves for the wiki. As you've probably noticed, these moves leave behind redirects which need to be tagged by you and then deleted by our sysops. Masteries unlocking

You removed info about unlocking masteries by guild hall - https://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Mastery&diff=2041342&oldid=2008083 without any info how you checked that. It works, and it's only way to stop bugged masteries pop-up. Removing info about that workaround is bad. You probably didn't have any masteries points on a new account, you need to earn a point first. 213.238.84.180 21:35, 8 September 2020 (UTC)

I tested the supposed unlock method "visiting a Guild Hall and going outside" and it did not unlock the mastery system, including central Tyria. Are you claiming that you require a mastery point unlocked? Because basically every account at that point will have at least a point unlocked (I can triple check but I'm 99% sure I did) and it still did not unlock the mastery system. If you're instead saying that it only gets rid of the mastery system pop-up and does not unlock the block of mastery I don't think I double checked that but it wouldn't belong in that section if true. Would need another mention of it stopping the pop-up not "Unlocking the mastery system and its blocks". So if you want to clarify I can see if there is another account to test with. Also I do suggest you make a wiki account so people can communicate with you and trust posts more than a random IP Dak393 (talk) 23:10, 8 September 2020 (UTC)

Mastery System unlocks when you go outside from one of the guild halls to Domain of Vabbi or Auric Basin, the little pad lock near Central Tyria is unlocked in those locations. But if you go back to Central Tyria, without doing anything, then Masteries will be locked again. You need to earn a red mastery point from Central Tyria first, and then go through the guild hall to spend it.

The pop-up appears when you earn that Central Tyria point and have lvl80 and max XP bar - but when being in Central Tyria you can't spend that point and pop-up will nag you all the time. But earned mastery point can be spend as above and the pop-up will go away.

There are instructions from few players how to do it, in the thread on the forum, linked in discussion, maybe some are more clearer then others, but anyway, this workaround works 213.238.84.180 20:37, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

I restored the 128 x 128 versions. File:Unstable Exterminator Core portrait.png seems to throw an error at the moment maybe you can see if there is a 128 x 128 version in the files and reupload - then I can delete the old 128 x 128. —Kvothe (talk) 13:36, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Guild trek images + ids

Thanks to you adding the ids to the 128x64px guild trek images you uploaded ages ago, and User:Kvothe for moving them, this enabled me to bulk upload the next file along which was twice the size for the remaining images :D -Chieftain Alex 00:16, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Charged quartz crystal page

hello, I leave my feedback why it's removed:

• it makes two identical recipes in the wiki system. the last one doesn't refer the actual recipe system.
• "Show base ingredients" is an option to see https://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Special:RunQuery/Base_ingredients_query&Base_ingredients%5Bitem%5D=Charged%20Quartz%20Crystal&Base_ingredients%5Bid%5D=&Base_ingredients%5Bquantity%5D=1&_run a link to get there exists in the first recipe.
