The Temple of the Fallen is a large shrine found in Dragon's End.
During Emperor Usoku's purges, it was here that the Luxons and Kurzicks made a truce, to unite and fight against the empire. the Shrine Guardian of the temple tried to help them, but failed and lost the war. In the years that followed, the Ministry of Purity attempted to turn the shrine into a place of triumph for their emperor. However, they met opposition from both humans and spirits. After the Ministry of Purity was disbanded by Empress Haebaragi, their control of the shrine was removed and it became a place to remember those who had fallen to their reign of terror, thus eventually more people began to come to venerate the site and thus the sanctuary became what it is today.
