Dialogue[edit]
- Jotun, mursaat, forgotten, seer, and dwarf. Five against six. It seems so unfair. And, yet...
- Ancient races of Tyria, of course. Surely you've heard of them, even in your uneducated state. If you'll excuse me, I have to document this thought before it dissolves.
- Whatever you say.
- (If in the Durmand Priory)
- It's accepted that there were five sentient races who fought the Elder Dragons the first time and survived. I'm studying them and looking for hints among their relics to how they did it.
- That we know of. This was a very long time ago. I'm afraid none of them are coming forward with helpful information. We have the dwarven Tome of Rubicon, but it has been changed over the years.
- Through copying and re-copying as the physical material of the tome degraded with time, I would imagine, though other, more political factors may have played a role.
- I see.
Changed how?
- I see.
Only five races?
- I see.
What are you talking about?
- (If in the Order of Whispers)
- And name the unnamed. Shh, I can't talk long. There are eyes and ears everywhere in this place. Infiltrating the Priory has been my hardest assignment to date.
- I have to sound smart all the time. Though, I'm learning a lot. I found out that there were five sentient races that fought the Elder Dragons the first time around... and survived to tell about it.
- There's the catch. It happened a very long time ago, and they weren't good at keeping records. I'm supposed to be studying their relics. It's deadly boring! Wanna trade me jobs?
- Nice try, but I have a different mission. Good luck!
Fantastic. Did they pass on any advice?
- I have to run. See you around.
Why's it so difficult?
- I have to run. See you around.
One must count the uncounted.
- I can see you're busy. I won't disturb you.
