Locations[edit]
Dialogue[edit]
- Guild Initiative Headquarters
- Hey, you there. Interested in hearing about ruins hidden in a canyon northwest of Maguuma jungle? How about the peculiar Mordrem infestation there?
- That is interesting. Tell me more?
- I found the ruins of an old settlement hidden in a secluded canyon. Pretty place, but crawling with Mordrem! I call it the Lost Precipice. I'm looking for a guild interested in securing it.
- Sounds great! My guild will seek out the Lost Precipice.
- Are you sure? Exploring the area will require more than just driving out the Mordrem. We'll need a full expedition, with support staff. It could get expensive.
- What will it cost to mount the expedition? (opens the Upgrades panel to purchase Expedition to the Lost Precipice)
- I'll consult with my guild.
- Can you tell me what this place looks like? (plays the cinematic)
- Crawling with Mordrem?
- Yeah, it's real bad. I've never seen so many Mordrem in one area. They're clearly guarding something.
- Sounds great! My guild will seek out the Lost Precipice. (same as above, "Are you sure...")
- Can you tell me what this place looks like? (plays the cinematic)
- What's in it for my guild?
- If your guild can occupy and hold the Lost Precipice. It will be yours as long as you defend it from Elder Dragons. All the Tyrian governments are on board.
- Sounds great! My guild will seek out the Lost Precipice. (same as above, "Are you sure...")
- Can you tell me what this place looks like? (plays the cinematic)
- I'll consult with my guild.
- Thank you.
- No, thanks. Not interested.
- No, thanks. Not interested.
- Just after purchasing the upgrade
- Sarah McKenzy: I'm so glad you've decided to settle the Lost Precipice!
- Sarah McKenzy: First, you need to make your way to Verdant Brink. I hope you know where that is!
- Sarah McKenzy: In the northwestern corner of the Brink, find the unstable shrine embedded in a chasm wall. YOu can't miss it.
- Sarah McKenzy: Well, you could. I mean, you need to glide to get there, so make sure you secure the Brink from Mordrem attack first.
- Sarah McKenzy: The shrine door falls down sometimes, so you might need extra hands to haul it open. Easy!
- Lost Precipice
- How's the guild doing? Having any trouble getting this place restored and upgraded? I know the various proprietors from the Initiative look forward to working with you!
- How do I get everything restored and upgraded?
- Easy! The Initiative's proprietors all have different specialties. They'll each take a hand in restoring the buildings around here. For example, Gamli can help restore the tavern.
- Where can I find the proprietors?
- They'll be coming in from Lion's Arch. You'll find them at your tavern!
- I have another question.
- Oh, okay. Thanks.
- How do I restore a building?
- The first upgrade a proprietor offers is a building upgrade. Purchasing that upgrade for your guild will start the building process and unlock other upgrades from that proprietor.
- I have another question.
- Oh, okay. Thanks.
- Oh, okay. Thanks.
- We're doing well, thanks.
Quotes[edit]
- I'm the swiftest scout in Tyria.
- We've had some scary moments, but when I see this place, it makes me glad to be here.
- I’ve always wanted to be an archaeologist. I like solving puzzles, and history is the greatest puzzle of all.
Notes[edit]
