Notes

• The best farming spot is in Dragon's Stand between the north and central barbed gates, where 8 or 9 smoke scales spawn within a close area. You don't need any mastery skills or meta completion.
• With any vertically traveling mount Auric Basin is even better. Just west of Lastgear Standing there is at least one smokescale and one veteran that respawn swiftly enough to keep one or two moderately equipped players active.
