Leurent, the Count of Blood, is one of the three high-ranking Nightmare Courtiers seeking Faolain's Nightmare Tree. He seeks the tree in hopes of fulfilling his desire to raise an army to take over the world through carnage. He was once Morrigu's lover, but when he failed his Wyld Hunt to save a village from the Risen, he blamed his love for making him weak and turned to the Nightmare to become strong. He now only wishes to be undefeatable.

Trivia[edit]
- When Leurent is absorbed by the Nightmare Tree, the room turns a light orange.
- Leurent kills Fyonna in Vevina's path, and is killed by Vevina in Fyonna's (removed) path.
