- The item retains the attribute bonuses from the Beta Fractal Capacitor used to craft the upgraded version. Both infusion slots are reset, destroying any previous infusion(s) on the back piece.

- The Fractal Capacitor is needed for the third step in making the Legendary Fractal Backpiece.
- The total cost of this item is:
- 2850 Fractal Relics
- One of: Vial of Condensed Mists Essence, Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence and Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence
- 500 Globs of Ectoplasm
- Either 40 Crystals or 240 Philosopher's Stones.
- This item can be salvaged for 1 Ball of Dark Energy to use in the collection Legendary Backpack: Ad Infinitum along with the ones obtained from salvaging Upper Bound for a total of 3 needed to purchase the Aetherblade Diploma.
