Dialogue[edit]
During Clockwork Chaos[edit]
- In the middle of Ascalon Settlement
- Is there something I can do for you?
- I've been told you witnessed one of Scarlet's first invasions. I'm hoping you know something that can help us stop her from doing this to anyone else.
- I overheard one of her sky pirate thugs says they couldn't wait to pillage Frostgorge Sound and...Fireheart Rise, that was it.
- Thank you. You've been very helpful.
- Emissary Vorp: Before I can get you in, I need more data from several attack sites. This is where it gets a bit complicated.
During Escape from Lion's Arch and Battle for Lion's Arch[edit]
- With a male asura in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- I keep thinking I'm going to wake up back home, safe and warm in Lion's Arch.
- At least you're safe here.
- With a female asura in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- I had him in my arms the whole way. The moment I got here, they took my Rollan from me to a mass grave. I couldn't even say good-bye.
- Leave.
- With a female human in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- Clara, is that you? Can't see. The gas burned my eyes. Oh, Clara, you survived. I thought I lost you.
- I have to go.
- With a male human in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- I lost my wife to the gas. I almost wish I passed away with her.
- I...I'm sorry.
During Battle for Lion's Arch: Aftermath[edit]
Lion's Arch[edit]
- With male humans
- Please say Scarlet went down begging and bleeding. She killed my wife and my friends. She deserved a long, burning blade across her throat.
- She went down, and she's never getting up again.
- Hard finding food around here. Few fish in the water. Fields are ruined. Found some mushrooms near Tokk's Mill. Stay away from them. They're mine.
- Why are you still here?
- Why am I? Why are you? It's my home. It's not what it once was—thank you, Scarlet—but it's mine.
- Good-bye.
- Your mushrooms. Got it.
- Leave me alone. I'm, uh, looking for something. This is none of your business.
- Got it.
- I lost everything, and I'm not about to live off charity in those camps.
- What are you doing here?
- Trying to find whatever I can to put my life back together. Maybe I can find something to sell. Maybe I can...find my family down here.
- I'll be going.
- Take care.
- With female humans
- My son never did anything wrong. And now some crazy sylvari kills him while he was on his way to work. What kind of world is this?
- I have to go.
- Stuff your charity and stuff your fake concern. Take the rest of these sods to a relief camp. I'm staying.
- Good-bye.
- I'm only trying to find my sister's belongings. Please, don't report me to the Lionguard.
- I won't.
- Is Scarlet really dead? For a year I hear she's alive, she's dead, she's here, she's there. Tell me. Which is it?
- She's dead and gone. Trust me.
- With a male asura
- Melinna, poor Melinna. I can still feel her, you know. But when I sleep, I see her falling back into the miasma.
- I'm...I'm sorry.
- With a female asura
- The Lionguard keeps looking for us. We aren't causing a problem. We just want to make sure no one loots our homes.
- Good luck.
Gendarran Fields[edit]
- With a male asura in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- Melinna, poor Melinna. I can still feel her, you know. But when I sleep, I see her falling back into the miasma.
- I'm...I'm sorry.
- With a female asura in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- Scarlet's dead! We've been celebrating ever since we heard. Well, as much as you can with camp rations.
- I killed her, you know.
- No, the hero who killed her was taller. Brighter teeth, too. I'm sure of it.
- I...never mind.
- It's worth celebrating.
- With a female human in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- Someone just gave birth in the camp and named her girl Scarlet. Who does that?
- No idea.
- With a male human in a camp in Gendarran Fields
- You should've heard the cheering when Scarlet's death was announced. Everyone hollered until they were hoarse. Best sound I've ever heard.
- I can only imagine.
During the Festival of the Four Winds in Fort Marriner[edit]
- When speaking with a norn citizen
- (If did not kill Scarlet Briar)
- Someone beat me to taking Scarlet's head. I wish I could have met that true hunter and shake their hand. Such a kill!
- I suppose so.
- (If killed Scarlet Briar)
- That must have been some fine hunt, tracking that Scarlet until she was cornered and snarling.
- It was.
- When speaking to a human male citizen
- (If did not kill Scarlet Briar)
- I heard the hero who offed Scarlet is back in the city. Good to see they didn't give up on this place.
- Good-bye.
- (If killed Scarlet Briar)
- Hey, you killed Scarlet. Wow! Wait until I tell my cousin about meeting you. He'll be so jealous.
- Take care.
- When speaking to a human female citizen
- I shouldn't have come back here. Too many bad memories, but I'm broke. Where else am I going to go?
- I don't know.
- When speaking to a sylvari citizen
- I can still taste the miasma in the air. I think it's soaked into the wood and stone, too.
- Good-bye.
