Insignia are used in the crafting of armor by armorsmiths, leatherworkers, and tailors. The insignia used determines the prefix of the armor it is used on, and gives the armor specific bonuses. Unlike runes, insignia cannot be applied or modified after armor is created.

Crafting Recipes

Insignia are made from different base materials, higher level armor requiring higher base materials. Insignia can either be standard or embroidered. Standard insignia produce CFine items, while embroidered insignia produce DMasterwork-level items. Accordingly, embroidered insignia are required to craft the higher-level armor pieces for a given material.
