Bags[edit]

A bag is an item that can be used to expand the number of available inventory slots. They come in a variety of sizes (from five to twenty slots) and special features (e.g some will hide items from vendor sell screens). New characters start the game with room for four bags and this can be expanded to seven bags through the Gem Store.

Bags can be purchased from vendors or crafted, but there is no meaningful difference between those made from cloth materials (bags), leather (packs), or metal (boxes), except that the possible special features depend on the choice of material.

Bag features[edit]

Some bags come with a special utility to the player:

  • Basic — No special properties
  • Craftsman's Bags — Looted crafting material is placed here first.
  • Invisible bags and safe boxes — Items in these bags cannot be sold to merchants; they do not move when inventory is sorted.
  • Oiled Packs — Looted junk is placed here first.
  • Padded Boxes — Looted weapon and armor is placed in these bags first.

Increasing slots[edit]

Bag Slots may be purchased for 400 Gem from the Gem Store. Additional purchased slots are character-based, not account-wide.

Recipes[edit]

The recipes for crafting a bag are similar across the three disciplines: they each require 10 of a particular refined material. Larger bags require a Rune of Holding and those with a special feature also require some type of activator.
